Hey there, Laura! Doing good here, thanks, just really busy with a lot of RL things, as usual! Hope you've been well.

I am well. Had dinner with friends last night. Tomorrow night I am going to a book launch for a photographer I know.
Szlivia, I always wondered how someone who has not read the book would perceive the film. It was a very special moment. |

Oh, a book launch sounds exciting, Stephanie! Especially since you know the photographer. Is that their first published book?
Certainly I can't be the only person that you know of who hasn't read the book but saw the film. I thought it was an intriguing start to the series (with some scenes coming across especially well), and it's got me looking forward to see what happens next. I'll catch up eventually. __________________

I watched the first Twilight movie without having read the books either. I fell in love with the story. The next day I bought the books and finished the serie in one week. I thought Twilight was pretty good, but when I read the book there was just no comparison, the book is obviously better. There were a lot of mistakes like... I mean Bella looked whiter than Edward but the storyline was well done, I think.

You have an interesting Twilight story, Val.
Stephanie, how did the book launch go? Thanks for the link, I'll check it out this weekend. Oh, I get it now. Well, if there's anything else you'd like to know, just ask! Wow, that's a big trip coming up for you! Have you been to Comic Con before, or will this one be your first? __________________

The book launch went well. A very good turn out. Lots of books sold and some prints of the actual photos were sold for charity.

That's awesome.
Cool! Great that you can make it all the way out there for CC again. So I take it there will be a panel for BD...and you'll be there? __________________

This month is crazy busy. Between working part-time, running clinic, cake decorating class, enjoying down time with the family, and running errands around town, the weeks are just flying by! I don't have cable TV, so I'm working my way towards watching the SV finale soon. __________________
