Okay, after talking to Laura, she agreed on opening this thread. Originally, I wanted to do something else, but we altered it and came to this idea (which is also on the Adam Brody Board), seeing that both were similar

Here's how it goes:

What we're trying to do is build a song. Someone posts a line from any song, and perhaps think of a title. That will determine what type of song it'll be. Later on, we might try thinking of our own lines, but for now, we're trying lines from actual songs.

Rules:

The lines must make sense. We do not want another 300 word story.

Good Example:

I knew I loved you before I met you,
It was like you were always there.

Bad Example:

I can't live a day without you,
So let's get this party started.
Only post one line and add the proper punctuation.
The song is not meant to be 300 lines. Although, there isn't an exact number on how many lines we should stop and start a new one.

*When someone is posting a new line, and they feel that its more of a conclusive line, they can end it then. But be sure to put something at the end, making it clear that it is the end of the song. Though, if the line is a line that would most likely be put at the end of a song, it should be put at the end, not, for example, at the beginning.

Heres the "template" on how it approximately should look:

This is probably very confusing for some of you, so if you have any questions, ask them! And, I'm known to miss a few things, so the mods will most likely edit if i forget anything

Very nice opening post, thank you Tasha!

I guess I have nothing else to add except that we can build songs for different people in different rounds, e.g. for Hayden or for one of his characters or maybe for couples (A/P, Nayden etc.) And if you feel like it, you could use the "title" function of the "reply to thread" window as a good way to document the original songs. You know, if someone wants to keep track.

I think this can be a very interesting game so it'd be great to see a lot of people participate.
