For the guys I think MacKenzie Bourg is talented as well but otherwise I don't really see myself rooting for any of them besides him or Dalton. There are just so many of the girls that are talented. Tristan and Emily are both so young but I think they have the potential to be really special.

Last night I watched the Showcase Round because I missed most of it. I agree about McKenzie and I also liked Trent. But Dalton is my favorite. Have you downloaded his pre-Idol album yet? I haven't -- not sure if I like him THAT much yet or not.

I didn't know Dalton had an album available already but I did watch one of his original songs, Superman, on YouTube that I liked. Hope he sticks around for a while... he has good stage presence, a good voice and works the crowd well.
Looking forward to the first group of 12 performing this week and the fan favorite Idols returning! __________________

I think Dalton will certainly make the Top-10. I wonder if there will be a tour and if so, will it just be the Top-5 like last year. I was really bummed that Joey Cook wasn't on the tour. However, we did go see Postmodern Jukebox when she was touring with them and she was great!

Yeah, that had to be so disappointing for both the fans and contestants that it was just Top 5 and not Top 10 last season for the tour. Did they at least have a live band though instead of backing tracks like they did for season 13 tour? I bet Joey was great live!

There were some really good performances! I really liked La'Porsha, Sonika and Avalon. I also didn't think James was as bad as the judges comments made his performance out to be.
I was a fan of Emily and Jenna but can't argue about them being sent home... Emily's solo performance was not good and I thought Jenna over sang the Maren Morris song. I won't miss Jordan Sasser. Loved so many of the duets! __________________

I can't believe they sent Stephany home. Sonika is great, but I actually thought Stephany was better as she doesn't hold back the way Sonika does. Oh well, maybe Stephany will be a wild card. I actually liked Jordan Strasser. I don't know what the big deal is about McKenzie and Thomas. Just not my type I guess.

Stephany's duet with Ruben was really good... if she was going to stay I'd rather it be in place of Gianna or Jeneve(?). Jordan was just too over the top for my liking. Not really a big fan of Thomas so far either... he's a sweet kid though.
