Yeah it was great, my mom had invited my aunt and uncle too who are actually my godparents so that was really nice. Haha, I got more sleep than the night before but I'm already looking forward to the weekend. xD

Totally get it about the weekend, I'm already wiped out. I have an important deadline this Friday and on top of that I have mandatory training 4 days this week, so it's training then back to work and then back home and I barely feel the time and it's morning and I have to start over the same thing.

Yeah it does. My ankle has been hurting ever since, although today it actually seems to be better.

It was, and I found out about the training on the Friday before and when I confirmed that deadline, I was taking into consideration a full week so having half of it for something else pretty much slayed me Fortunately I was able to make it despite that but the stress levels were on an all-time high to say the least. I had a long weekend so that helped xD

Oh no, it sucks when something comes up so unexpectedly and messes up your plans. Glad you were able to make the deadline anyway. And I can imagine how much a weekend means after a high stress week like that.

My weekend was good. Went to my crumb's 4-year birthday party.

Yesterday sucked though. It went wrong from the beginning with me having an argument with my dad and missing the bus twice (the first one because of the icy streets and the 2nd one wasn't in the schedule, I literally did not see it coming ). Then I had an annoying meeting at work, got some not so good feedback, didn't really get anything done with this big case I'm working on, and when I got home, I picked up my new shoes which turned out to be faulty so they are going straight back. There were a couple of other small things too. All that plus being sleep deprived really made me happy to just go to bed last night and forget all about the day.

It was. If it had been just one of those things, it wouldn't have been that bad (well except for missing the bus ) but everything just piled up so it sucked. And yeah, even the shoes let me down. xD Everything is okay with dad and for the most part at work too now. The case seems to be a never-ending one though (I've looked at it with experts and my boss and it's just so hard to solve xD).

I'm not kidding, I saw only when it passed the bus stop (I had my back to its direction and I was angrily fiddling with my phone ). xD

Oh, and last weekend (Sunday) I became a third time aunt.

Yeah it's the worst when you just need a bad day to end but instead things keep happening that make it worse. Glad things worked with your dad and work and I know the feeling with a never-ending case/project at work Sounds like a really hard one! Hope you can find a way to solve it.

It's really hard to stay positive on a day like that. And thanks, I hope so too, I just really want this case out of my hands already.

No, my dad was nice enough to drive me to work, otherwise I would have been late to a meeting (that wouldn't have been a bad thing though ).

Little bit of both. xD Not that it's very polite to be late but sometimes these meetings get tiresome, you know?

They are. He is so tiny that the clothes my sister had got him beforehand are too big for him, I had to go get him some pants that fit before I went to see him last week, the smallest ones in the store.

My brother was over for his monthly visits (he has to leave the country he's in every month for a Visa thing) so we hung out but I also had some work to do so it was a busy weekend and then busy week at work and hence barely being able to post lately xD
