The Highlight of my night was when my two favorite men surprised me & performed my FAVORITE song "My Girl" I love you daddy & @j_r_o_s !! I don't think I've ever smiled this big in my life! ❤️ #HeSmithedHer ������:

The last time I sung for someone was at my Sweet 16 & it was to my Grandpa Jay who has since passed. I decided after that moment that I probably would never do that again, because I basically sobbed through the whole performance & He probably couldn't understand a word I sang to him. After that I kind of detached my emotions a bit because if I felt too emotionally connected to a song, I would relate too much & kind of crumble... I was scared to share those "weaknesses"'with anybody but my father & my grandpa so I tucked them away for quite a while. Finally I found the one who has accepted me flaws & all, Who prefers feeling over perfection & the one who has faithfully stayed by my side as my biggest cheerleader throughout some of our toughest moments. So on Jan 7th, Through the happy tears, I let my guard down & sang to Jimmy one of the truest songs I have ever sung #SayYouWontLetGo.

Wow, the venue looks so pretty in the first picture. And OMG, how adorable is that My Girl performance? I would have bawled my eyes out. xD

And it's wonderful she felt she could share her vulnerability with her husband at that moment and perform an emotional song for him. Such a beautiful performance too.

Just a week ago, I posted a video of me singing #ThePowerOfLove in my managers office .. Little did I know a week later that all of my prayers would be answered and I'd be performing that song and other @celinedion hits with my favorite @davidfoster. As a singer & someone who has loved and admired David since I was little tonight was a dream come true. My heart is so full right now, I am honestly stunned & so so grateful.
