Heinz Winckler Appreciation - South African Idol

For me, the best thing that came out of World Idol was that I discovered Heinz. I personally loved "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" and liked it a lot better than Aerosmith's.

I've done a lot of research on Heinz, and he's apparently a very modest, old-fashioned guy. He was a law student before becoming Idol. He's a devoted Christian. And I thought it was very nice of him to wear the red AIDS ribbon when he performed (it's a huge problem in Africa). I've also been listening to Heinz MP3s. Angel is my fav.

Any other Heinz fans out there?

I really liked his version too! I must admit though, I am surprised that he came fourth but it was def. a really good performance. Ever since WI my friends all go 'ga-ga' over him! And rightly so!

Heinz was definitely the best thing to come out of World Idol for me too. I think I've definitely become a fan of his. I feel so shallow because his looks were the first thing I noticed(he's obviously a very attractive young man), but the more I listened to his performance of "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing", the more I fell in love with his voice. By no means is he the best singer ever, but the songs I've downloaded of him are great. I really hope they end up releasing his album here in the States.

brasha-I downloaded 5 songs of his on Kazaa, but I'll keep a look out for more and possibly upload them somewhere.

Ketchup? LoL, I can't beleive I didn't even notice that.

If I was talented, I would get a ketchup bottle and put his face on the label.

I think ketchup would sell a lot more if he was on the front.
