She is easily my favorite out of the females. She's got an amazing voice, but more than that, she's got this sweet glow around her. And she's beautiful too

I really like her, but I hate that the judge's are pegging her as 'the best' and 'the winner' already. I think it's bad for her. I know I tend to run from the people who I feel are being shoved down my throat, and I fear that may happen with Carrie. I really hope it doesn't though, because I enjoy her voice and I think she's very sweet and (usually unintentionally) funny. Plus, I want more Carrie/Constantine moments.

I don't think the pimping will hurt Carrie if that's all she has going against her. It didn't hurt Ruben or Fantasia (or Kelly, once Tamyra was eliminated).

I've loved Carrie since her first audition!

I'm sorta worried, because I know people get annoyed with the pimping. But I have a feeling that MOST of the top 12 is gonna be pimped up people, so it'll be kinda irrelveant then.

I think even if she wasn't get all that attention her voice would have gotten her through. Look at Kelly, she got NO airtime before her results show and she ended up winning. So I think the attention is helping her if anything.

Her personality just seems so sweet too. She's like a cute humble southern girl. And I LOVE her "stars" comment. I think that was the first ep I saw and made me keep watching AI. I haven't really watched and actually liked anyone since the first.

I think that I remember Kelly most from her audition, when she became a judge. But that's neither this or that.

Carrie being pimped could be a problem for me, I tend to go against the judge's grain. But in this case, I think she's got the voice unlike a few previous contestants that they liked (imo).

Regardless, she's still my fave female

But, I think Carrie is very good and, like you said brasha, she's very different than the contestants that have been pimped in previous seasons.

There are many wonderful singers this season on Idol, but Carrie, on Tuesday night, was the one performance that really stood out for me. She has a beautiful singing voice, picked a great song, one that I'd never heard before, and has a lot of charisma. As cheesy, cliche and stupid as this might sound, when I see and hear her perform, I see American Idol. She has everything going for her. Carrie and Mario are my favorites.
