He talked about having to sing without a band:

For the type of performer he is it probably does kinda suck not having a real band on the Idol tour. He sounds like he's trying to make the best of it though so that's good.

I like how he describes his album.

Yeah he usually feeds of the band so he really must have had to think 'outside the box' for this tour.

Yeah exactly, it's why he was really good during "I'm with the band!" week

I can see his shows being always like that.

Finally! He sounds really good on it. I thought it was probably his best "slow" song on the show.
