I knew quite a lot about serial killers before, don't ask me why I was reading those books,
but [Hannibal is] not one of those. He's very special. He's an invention.
The closest thing I could find to that was the fallen angel.
The fallen angel believes in the beauty of the darkness
. That is so incomprehensible to us,
we can't understand it, and so we're attracted to it. So I wasn't reading textbooks about mental disease,
I was imagining how it was to be Satan. [But] Satan isn't necessarily a man with the horns;
we've seen him come to life in many movies or books, but it's dark.

"I can see it in people’s eyes how excited they are, when they want an autograph.
It’s very strange for me. I’m just Jenny from the block. My life has changed – I didn’t.
It’s still just my job and I’m just as nice and annoying as always. Nothing has changed."

"It all starts out with the childhood, I guess.
You think about what you did as a child and why you did it.
That’s why I go back to my childhood.
I don’t believe that people are born to do something
or that you’re destined to go one way.
Your childhood is the base for what you might experience later on in life."

They feed it, keep it warm, but they don’t put it on the machines.
They let it die. But he doesn’t die. He looks normal and nobody can tell what he is.”

Will start working on this OP ASAP.

What do you guys think we should have? Gifs, arts are the basics... reasons why we love Hannibal, maybe?

Thanks for the new thread, Ana .
Using that quote as a title was a great idea .

I like those options. Also, maybe the Scene of the moment ?
I was thinking about something but maybe you and Imane think it´s weird .

Girl, my tolerance for weird is WAY higher than most people's, so give me your best shot.

I like the idea of scene of the moment... which one would you guys choose?

Oh boy...it´s gonna be hard to chose a scene of the moment.

Okay then ...i was thinking about putting some parallels from the Hannibal movies (some scenes) to the show.
Example: the Opera scene...it´s weird, right ?

I really like that idea, no weird at all! It sounds great to me. I'm gonna need to rewatch the movies though, I don't remember much of them.

Awww...i´m glad you like it, Ana ^^
I don´t know the scenes by heart but right now, i have two in mind:

The Opera scene and the dinner scene (SotL).

I think I might have seen Hannibal but I'm not completely sure. I know I've seen Red Dragon and SotL, but just the other day Melissa told me Hannibal and Hannibal Rising are different films, so I'm pretty sure I've only seen the latter.

thank you!

It's great!Brian Cox is diffrent Hannibal than Hopkins was (or Mads is),but he's excellent nonethless, along with William Petersen as Will. Also cinematography is breathtaking (I certainly remember that) I would definitely recommend, one of the best Michael Mann's films imo
