i always saw him as a doctor but at the same time i think that it would be even harder for him

if i remember well in the questionnaires from the first season he answered "teacher" (i know that the actors did them for fun...)
maybe he'd love to be a teacher for children .. i can see him as a teacher.

The actors had filled those questionnaires for fun? I didn't know that.

honestly I never understood if they were original or not. Like the prom cards.
if i'm not wrong they were put in the WB site? but who knows
i'd love to know if they were canon or the fans did them.
anyway i always thought that the actors made them for fun in order to joke about their characters (in some of them it was pretty obvious ) so nothing to take too seriously.

Maybe it was the actors. They were still young at that time and it was the kind of thing that they were used to do.

Hmm, do you think that Tess brought the Granolith back, in season 3? She didn't mention and nobody asked, but it's a possibility, right?

I noticed that in Four Aliens and A Baby, Tess returned in a space ship. The scientists were examining it when the door opened, revealing a baby. Tess then killed everyone in the room.

So it's really bad then if Khivar has the Granolith, right?

The whole Granolith thing is a little confusing........Do we know what really happened to it......Was it destroyed or damaged when Tess returned to Antar, rendering it useless?

or maybe it was only the travelling action of the granilith that was damaged, because it could travel only once?
it's seriously confusing, and they didn't use all the potential of it in the show

It was completly messed up. If it's so powerful that the skins on Earth wanted it to stay alive, if it could be used for time travel, and if the other planets believed it to be a precious religious artefacts, then it was ridiculous to use it as a spaceship in Departure. And then nobody cares about what happened to it in season 3???

I think the original premise of the Granolith was that if you used it; it was rendered useless. Unless they found another way to fix it. But once Tess used it; she wouldn't have been able to use it again. And so had to command another ship to get back to Earth when she fled with the baby.

We know from Khivar's possession of Denny that they people of Antar were working on another way to space travel. The black hole that Khivar was trying to get Isabel to go into on her honeymoon. It had been perfected enough to get Khivar to make his mission. But not enough...

But I believe they said that once the Granolith was used; it would be a lemon. It really could be used once. To get back to Antar.

Max was always an odd ball LOL. Because I never got a good sense at what he wanted to do with his life. All it seemed was that he wanted Liz. He didn't seem to have a career in mind like Liz did.

Probably because Max, Isabel and Michael spent so much time looking for their past and maybe they didn't think they would have a future on Earth.

It was only after sending Tess away; life on Earth became a possibility and then for Max he was searching for his son and so while Isabel and Michael settled down and concentrated on their future's; for much of Season 3. Max's life was unsettled. And when he decided to make a future with Liz. It wasn't clear what he would do. Just that if Graduation hadn't been interrupted; he would have followed Liz to Northwestern.

We know he was just as good in science as Liz. And he was smart. In Season 1; Max was on the honor roll along with Liz.

But then it seemed as the alien chaos got more complicated; he seemed to pushed deeper and deeper and away from any pursuit of Earth's future.

I am not sure I would have seen him as a doctor. Maybe he would have followed his father's footsteps as a lawyer. Helping the unfortunate citizens in the world in the legal system.

In fact; only we ever got a scene of what Liz wanted to do. Be a scientist or a doctor. Maria wanted to be a singer but there was never any indication what she might want to do if that didn't happen. Kyle I don't know. He hated being a mechanic and sports hero was out.

Isabel continued with college after getting married. But there was never any indication if she saw her self getting a job after she graduated? Or was she planning once she started a family with Jesse to be a stay at home mother? Hmmm...

Michael was another thing all together. He started getting his life together. Found a job as a security guard that fit in with his soldier identity on Antar. But I never got a good sense of what he was good at. He didn't care for his job at Crashdown; it was just a means to a pay check and paying the rent.

But maybe he would have become a cook. Since I am sure on the road post Graduation; he would have been stuck with the meals LOL.

I really don't see a powerful alien artefact which can travel back in time being only a one way space ship. It just makes no sense for me. If it had been just a kind of safety ship, okay, but it was implied to be much more than that. I think that it was just a case of the writers forgetting about how powerful it was. Or not knowing what to do with it.

Or a bartender. Don't forget "Hank's education" .
