I'm looking forward to "V", and I'll watch SG-U. I saw most of the first ep; stubid VCR quit before the show was over, grrr. Wasn't terribly impressed, though. That one kid, who won the contest? Potential for a Wesley Crusher, there.

We'll see.

Wow, I had several pages to read back through - that hasn’t happened in a long time.

On the vampire discussion a couple weeks back… I just got the boxed set of True Blood books but haven’t had a chance to start them yet. Never read Twilight and have no interest in them. I did rent Twilight (the movie) and pardon the pun, but it Sucked! I thought the acting was horrid and the main couple more boring than Isabel and any of her contrived beaus. LOL

I have to say the best Vamp series I have ever watched was Buffy and also Angel. I have them on DVD and have watched them numerous times. Was sad with they way they ended each series, though.

On that Kanye/Taylor Swift debacle - Kanye may have been drinking (a lot) but he knew exactly what he was doing. Just another in a line of dumbass behavior on his part. :::shakes head:::

I was going to try out that tv-dome site, but when I went to it on my office computer, chose a show, our anti-virus program immediately popped up a warning that it has found and deleted a Trojan - so I am too leery to try it on my home computer. Guess I’ll just have to wait on DVDs for cable shows.

And since I don’t have cable, no Stargate-U for me, but I am looking forward to V. I remember watching the original.

I think tv dome has some advertising pop ups that launch viruses. I complained about it to them once. BUT you don't have to download anything there it'll play for you once to get to the page you want. Try again at work since their protection seems good. Turn on the pop up stopper and you shouldn't have any problems.

The True Blood books are good and the show is great!

Yeah, personally, I didn't mind the movie. The reason being is that I DID read the books (except for Breaking Dawn) and EB, especially Bella - annoy me ten times more in there. At least, Kristen Stewart made Bella more likeable for me onscreen - the character of Bella is much more annoying, whiny, clingy, and manipulative by the third book. I just couldn't take it anymore so I skipped out on BD. My sister just summarized that book for me so I know what happened. New Moon is my favorite in the series just because I like the character of Jacob the most and I'm more of a JB (Jake/Bells) fan than I am EB (Edward/Bella). I didn't mind them so much in the first book; however, I never felt passionate about them at all. My feeling while reading was like - okay, whatever. I got more into some of the plot rather than the relationship.

LOL - need to get back to catching up on True Blood. I watched some of season one and two but that was it. I need to start from the beginning and follow through.

I like the True Blood books. Except the whole book about the Weres. There was just too much info being introduced and not much with the vamps and relationships. I found myself not caring much about the Were situation so was glad when I moved onto the next book. NOT that that book was bad just wanted the other stories to move along too, it was just all about the Weres. But you did need to know all that info for the following books.

BTW, Nick Wechlser is going to be in The Host (the sci-fi novel by Stephenie Meyer).

SGU--mostly liked. Could have really gone without the supply closet scene.

Not watching any other vampire shows at the moment.

I can't believe TEN YEARS ???? And SD are still here and I'm still thinking Roswell was special.. I'm still thinking Jason and Shiri are the best couple kissing on screen. They had so much chemistry it hurts to see them kissing. Wishing you have at least 20% of that heat when you kiss someone lol lol lol

So I wanted to say hi to all of you and ....

Im looking forward to shiri's new show... i agree i dont really love the idea of her being a mom... but shiri is better than no shiri!

"Kept you sane"? I don't see how, and I don't think I want the blame for that...

Haven't seen Star in ages. I think it just got to be more bother than it was worth, to her. <shrug> Can't make her hang around...

And yes, having Shiri is better than not having Shiri. Hey, it's a job; she's a working actress once again. Hurray!

Star2000monkey has popped in and out every great once in awhile. I think she's deep in school stuff.

i think Shiri is going to hit it big, I do, but we just have to be patient. And I think Heigl is just going to eventually fade away with her bad rep. I dont expect much from anyone else. Just my opinion.

Well I'm pretty amazed we're still posting after all these years. It's not unusual for people to pop in and out occasionally. I'm surprised we're even on page 18 of this thread. I thought the last one was going to be our swan song and I decided not to start a new one. (Though I allowed myself to post if someone else started it ).
