Hi, jazzy120. I'm glad there are so many new fans. I'm an old fan but I still love to talk about Roswell.

Off The Menu originally played right before Departure. It started out with Maria saying that some things had happened earlier that she hadn't told us about so she was playing catch up.

Supposedly, OTM was shown in that order because TPTB were afraid the audience would catch on to Tess's mindwarps and the finger tapping too soon and ruin the surprise ending.

I think OTM takes place right before Heart Of Mine. In OTM, Max tells Tess and Larek that he can't remember anything about Larek's memories of Antar. When Max heals Larek/Brody, he sees flashes of the scene that Larek had described, the red water, DeMaris Rock, and later Zan and Ava kissing.

Max comes to Tess at the end of OTM to tell her that he now remembers her. Then HOM starts out with Max telling Michael that he's started remembering things about their planet and that memories of Tess are the most clear. Then he tells Liz that he has started remembering things about his planet. At the prom, he tells Tess he's remembered something else, their first kiss.

All that follows a logical sequence. When I first saw OTM it was very confusing because I didn't know when it happened. In spite of Maria saying it had happend earlier, it seemed very odd for Max to be telling Larek he never loved Tess when she at that time was pregnant with his child and he had already said he remembered things in HOM. If they had shown OTM before HOM, the whole thing would have made more sense to me. I didn't pick up on Tess's mindwarp of Maria's mother as a clue Tess had killed Alex but maybe some fans did.

Algieba, thanks for the explanation. CYN aired today on SciFi and in my opinion, I think it was one of the best episodes of Roswell...just really well done in so many ways. This is the first time I've seen the episode since it originally aired years ago, and it's weird watching it now since I've seen the final episodes of the season and know how it all pans out. I'm definately not looking forward to tomorrows episode though cause I'm definately not a M/T fan.

I can't wait to see tomorrow's episode on Sci-Fi. It's when everything is revealed. Tess' true intentions are revealed, Isabel & Michael stay. and Max and Liz are finally together. I fell kinda bad for Sean though...

I watched Departure today. Yay! I love this ep. Tess is such a manipulating ingrate. For one, she betrayed the Valentis after they were SO nice to her. Also manipulating Max to be able to deliver his child to Kivar and calling Liz a bitch. I thought he was really gonna kill her for that one, lol. Im glad shes gone, for now anyway. I love the end when theyre all standing together and "Walk On" plays. I hope they keep that song on the DVD but somehow I doubt it

The ones that have the region 2 copy say that U2 - Walk On is on the set but not Coldplay - Trouble
