I figure they use a song if it matches the scene. Given what Max and Liz, and Future Max and Current Liz were going through. It very much fit given Liz was potentially sacrificing her future with Max. But deep down we are being told in the song, not to give up. "Believe" that there can be a future... And ultimately they showed that in both timelines, they were destined to together.

I agree Jasper. As frustrating as TEOTW was for Dreamers, the cool thing about it is that it does ultimately prove that true love conquers all and Max and Liz were destined to be together no matter what.

As a general discussion topic, if you were one of the writers for the show, what storyline would you have tried to interject into season 2 and/or season 3?

More of Antar or their past lives, in any facet. There's so much to explore there!

i think i would have added more of the donors and how they all got their human looks.

Yeah, definitely.

I also would have enjoyed if Future Max's timeline was more fleshed out. I think I would have loved to have seen a full episode take place in 2014, and that way we could have seen what everyone was like in the future and could have gotten a better idea of how and why it was all falling apart. And then the next episode could have been when Future Max went back in time and got Liz to change it.

you know i actually thought that in the beginning of the episode that it was going to be like a to be continued where they would stay in 2014 and see everyone and how it started. but then he came back and i was like, oh man they should have kept that going.
