I wanted more Ava and Zan as well! I loved their connection and story. Zan was gone way too soon!

I wrote a fan fic once where Jennifer and Larry where the ones who adopted baby Zan. I liked the idea of everything coming full circle being they were their the day Liz got shot and Max healed her. Also Max and the gang were there when Larry proposed to Jennifer at the Crashdown Cafe in The Convention.

Plus Jennifer and Larry loved anything alien and scifi so it always made sense to me that they would be the ones who adopted baby Zan.

Jennifer and Larry are probably the only parents he could get who would accept and not be scared of his powers when he developed them.

Yes that is why I thought it woud be a perfect fit! :D

I have already thought about that question and the possible conversation once she finds out!! Short answer is no, the Tess I know would not have been happy. She was not exactly a big fan of humans.....

I don't think that was what she wanted either, she wanted him to be with family, others that were like him (even though they tried to say he was human - don't think any Roswell fan actually buys that), & people that had the means to protect him from their enemies, which normal humans just didn't have imo :shrug:

Yes! I agree. I’m interpreting that Zan is physically human, human blood cells and all, but not that he doesn’t have powers. Liz developed them after being healed as a human. No way they could have sent him packing with alien blood cells so I will assume Max and Liz checked that during the two weeks Zan was with Max and his parents. After all Tess only said Kivar rejected his human status, she didn’t say anything about lack of powers.

I always thought it'd be interesting to read a fanfic of a teenage Zan discovering his powers, being really confused, and eventually finding Tess.

And I don't know if the Antarian scientists ever thought about how the planet would feel being ruled by people who look human.

And this is what I’m trying to do.....not sure exactly how it will go , but I have the beginning so far.... kind of cool to create this whole new character....it’s easier to think about Tess and Max since they are established.... but I look at the last few scenes of four aliens and think about how that baby grew up and what happened to him. Lots of possibilities so I have to pick one and go with it.

There are endless possibilities with Zan, & I think if anyone was gonna find him years later, it would be Tess :sigh:

Will you be saying he inherited Max's hair color and Tess' eyes?

The upcoming part also breaks my heart because Tess is reliving the memory and then Max drives the knife into her heart. The face Emilie pulled was brilliant acting.

This was so heartbreaking! But then it was even more powerful when Max finally remembered.

Btw, Larek totally shipped Max and Tess and no one can change my mind. :D

Emilie was great in this scene!! Again goes back to the tragedy of Zan and Ava’s love story.
I just keep seeing Zan Jr as a raven haired blue eyed sweetheart, I am not sure why. When I see the baby it looks as if he might have been blond or light brown haired.
