That deal was so stupid. I still don't understand why Kivar would be interested in Max's heir either. He was having no trouble keeping Max out of the way, he really didn't need to try anything else to seize control imo - Max was fighting for it at all. That's pretty much an entire race surrendering

yea, it was dumb. He should've been threatened by a Max/Zan heir. Most evil dictators kill their rival's heir(s).
Were they trying to say Kivar didn't have kids so he needed someone to carry on his legacy? In that case, choose someone from your supporters to do that. And you're right, Max wasn't coming for the throne. Unless Kivar wanted to show people like Zan/Lonnie's mother...look, even your grandson wants me to rule!  It was a half-assed story.__________________

Yeah, I can't remember all the details about it off the top of my head - but I really can't remember a reason why Kivar wanted Tess to come back with Max's heir. I really don't get the logic behind it

You can tell in season 3 that non of the writers watched season 2. I mean who did you miss that important fact. The kid can't live on earth but when he is born he is 100% human and can breath happy once he is born!
