I just don't see the logic. As a mother with a dying child, suggesting to go home wouldn't look bad (on her part). It'd look like she cared about her unborn baby. She wouldn't need Max to suggest it.

If you said she wanted to get caught (like how jayta wrote it in Loving Destiny) that'd make sense. But Tess pretending like going home is not her idea and mindwarping someone to figure out how to go home was a bad move. She could've waited for Max to say he wanted to go home and then been like "Oh, great, I know how to get there."

****, i dont know... the whole storyline is screwed completely. lol Theres so many gaps in there, i dont think none of it makes sense. Like there baby being completely human and not having powers, dont make sense. We could talk about all the inconsistencies all day long

I like pointing out how the story makes no sense. I just wish other people (Tess haters) would admit that it doesn't make sense instead of going along with it just because it makes them happy.

Like, if Liz was evil out of nowhere, I wouldn't accept that. I don't like Liz, but I know it doesn't make sense.

I dont hate Liz... and i think in the beginning it makes sense and it even feels right for the story of how liz and max are, but the interaction of Tess should have been different. I think the story might have been more like how we would of liked it if HBO did it

that would be nice, instead of them just turning a blind eye to the situation because it ends up in their favor.

Yeah, my best friend and I were watching Roswell S1 together and she likes M/L but I obviously like M/T and I was telling her about S2 and S3 and we both agreed on how many gaps in the storyline there were.

*sigh*

The way I see it, Tess is a tragic character, and unfortunately, the issues with the production of the show in S2 and S3 (changing writers, wobbling between taking a sci fi route vs. a human drama route, possibility of cancellation) really took a toll on the Tess and Royal 4 storyline.

at least she's not one of the insane ML fans who's like Tess IS evil. The show makes TOTAL sense.

I think one of the reasons why I love Tess so much is because she's tragic. It makes her intriguing to watch.

I feel like even if MT were put together (and they're together because they want to be together and not because Max is being forced) that the show still could've explored human stories. There could've been a balance between alien stuff and teen stuff.

it's to bad the writers seemingly didn't share the same view

Even if it wasn't easy, the writers could have still done it put M&T together, you know, push themselves to something they previously thought would of been to hard.
Anyway, they at a point were pushing Sean towards Liz, that would have worked out fine. Why did the writers almost make them a couple, then he disappeared completely from the show? :s

Did every hybrid have to be with a human...

Honestly, Sean was better for Liz. She was safer when she wasn't pushing herself into alien drama and IMO, happier.

Yea that's what i was thinking, they would rather like a challenge, than repeat storylines that have been done many times before.

Guess that kinda depends on when this "nasedo deal" come into knowledge ...
But then, if liz let Max go earlier .. and Tess and Max got together earlier .. and they got to know each other better and trusted each other more ..

Then Tess could have told the other three, the other three not straight away turn to burn her at the stake, and then the deal never be set through to the end so theres no need to mindwarp Alex in the first place!

So we burn liz at the stake instead!

okay okay. IF a deal took place between Nasedo and the skins/kivar, and Tess had no desire to fulfill the deal, then why should she say anything to MMiI? And who's to say Nasedo intended on fulfilling the deal? Maybe he was captured by the skins and they told him they'd let him live if he organized a situation where tess could come back with max's kid. maybe Nasedo told Tess as a "in case I die I want you to know about it" sort of thing. Like if the skins found Tess and they wanted to know how her end of the deal was coming, she wouldn't be like "What??"
