Are you going to make those this weekend Indy?

How is band practice going? Do they do that all summer? I can't remember.

Ours don't start till August.

TYB: I recognise Buffy, of course; but who's the other girl and what show is she on?

Since I live across the street from our High School & football field, I'm very aware of Band practice. Especially the Marching Band, which does laps around our block.

With the flagbearers and cheerleaders out front, of course!

This doesn't usually start until the middle of August, though.
Usually around 7 AM, outside my bedroom window.

My "yard flowers" are doing well. There's one that's really beautiful, but I have no idea what it is. It's tiny and white, like baby's breath? The flowers have 4 rounded petals: one at 12 o'clock, ones at 8 and 4 o'clock, and a much smaller one at 6 o'clock. The 12 o'clock one has vertical blue lines on it, maybe 8 or 10 lines; and the 8 and 4 o'clock petals have very faint horizontal blue lines. The whole thing, is about half the size of a pea. And there are so many of them!
The dandelion are doing fine, BTW.

It's Adelaide Kane from Reign. She plays Mary, Queen of Scots; Reign is about her story.

Good morning.

We normally don't practice in June, but this year are trying to get a head start, and have 7 practices scheduled. Our biggest camps are in July.

In the hottest heat of summer? That sounds like a recipe for problems: Heat exhaustion, sun stroke, major sunburnage...

Even if it is a relatively cool summer, IMHO that's not a great idea.

We have to do it in July, because school starts August 1st these days.

I just went out and bought potting soil and am going to tackle the last of the
flower beds today. Need to get all of those seeds planted.
Plus, I bought 2 more packs of seeds.

Finished the new bed of parsley, fennel, and Dill for the butterflies to hopefully lay their eggs. Planted much more daisies, coneflowers & zinnias.
Ran out of time, so tomorrow will start the new flower bed for butterfly plant.
Last year I worked so hard on the butterfly garden, and when a butterfly first came by, it landed on an old towel.
The swallowtails did enjoy the coneflowers last year.
I'm really trying to get Monarch's to live here.

May we post pictures of flowers here? I have a ton in my yard; besides the dandelion even.

Mustn't aggravate the Moderators.

As far as I know, you can post a picture any time. That's the way it is on the other boards I visit, and ones I post on.

Indy enjoy the rest of your planting.

After graduation today, I watched the movie "Twister" for the first time. Seemed like a nice Spring movie.
Good thing it was a sunny day. That gets very intense.

Oh! You'd never seen it? It's one of my favorite movies, but you're right-very intense, and is so every time I have watched it.

I'm up early, but got plenty of good, restful sleep.

I've been hanging some pictures I colored.

I'm glad you finally got some rest.
I got up once to shut windows when it rained. I don't have to water today!
