Indy I go out about every other day, doing errands, or PT. It's SO nice.
I hope the prep is going well. Cuddles that is a good idea, hiding the best you can. I hope it works. Yeah, I moved some of my stuff to another shelf in the fridge, and I'm waiting to see if they move it back. If they do, I'm going off. Got my hair cut! Bangs, layers, and an inch off the length. It feels so much better. Going to get this really cool flat iron that she used to curl my hair, it didn't even take more than a couple of minutes, which even I have patience for. __________________

Cuddles. Now you are hiding from the students, instead of the boss.
Hope things are better now. Glad you are getting out and about, Bunnykins. I finally have one free week-end! I don't know what I will do. Probably yard work. |

Indy, what are you doing with your day? Yard work?
We lost internet, again, when the storms came through yesterday. We have a surge protector on the house now, so that will help the power and our equipment when we have our summer storms. It's raining today though, and wow, I'm talking a lot. Have PT 3 days this week. __________________

I hope that PT is helping, TYB. And/but if you've got the freezer about filled, why go shopping to fill it? Mine's about to explode. When I went shopping this afternoon, all I needed was buns to put it in. And salad.
I have, in the freezer or fridge now: Chicken (recently crock-potted thighs, 5) Chicken broth (see above, 2 pts.) Duck (from Christmas, 2 pts. fat, a little broth, a little meat) Ham Hamburger patties (12) Fish fillets (3) (and two different kinds of canned fish in the cupboard.) And eggs, of course. So, "buns to put it in", and fresh salad. Also have beans, various vegetables, etc. Had another Certified Lay Preacher training class today: the Old Testament. It actually made sense! And I got a much clearer idea of the history involved. (No cracks about me being "certifiable", now. ) Church business is moving along good, too. The guy who wanted to ram through major structural changes has "burned out" of his own accord, and resigned - in favor of a guy who's been an Elder for decades, and has been an experienced contractor for decades, and has already saved us about half (!) what the other guy wanted to spend... So that's looking good, too. Had a couple of teens at my door just now - wanted to know if I needed my lawn mowed. (By strangers? When it was just raining, and it's wet?) Um, no. I told them I have my own lawn mower. And considering how black it is to my west, it'll probably be raining again soon, before they'd finish. Plus, we're to get some more rain from that coastal storm tomorrow. I may be able to mow Monday, if it's not too wet... (Now, where'd I put those pontoons for the mower?) __________________

Sounds like you have a lot going on!
I barely had room for a pint of ice cream in the freezer. And, I'm not allowed to eat ANY of the food in the freezer, unless I buy it, but there is no room for me to buy anything. Happy Mother's Day! Indy & Cuddles! And happy Mother's Day to all of us furbaby mamas too! __________________

Hey guys Looks like everyone's been busy lately. I won't even tell you what I've been up to the past week. It even makes my head spin
Kimmie...Isn't there a place you could buy a seconhand fridge freezer and keep it in your room. When I lived in London and shared a house with two others I had a fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, George Forman grill and a halogen oven in my room What's the weather like over with you lot? It's been lovely here all the week then last night we had torrential rain Dawnie __________________

Dawnie!
I never thought to buy 2nd hand. That's a great idea. I'd have to have it delivered and installed though. I might be able to find someone to do that. That's a really great idea. And she can complain about electricity all she wants-it's her fault. at your . I hope it was loads of fun! It's in the 70's here and clear and sunny. Going to be about 80 degrees and sunny most of the week. Just rain Tuesday, and possible storms again Friday. __________________

They sell small freezers at Wal Mart & lumber yards for not too much.
I did yard work all day Saturday. 7 hours of mowing & planting. Still have 2 bushes to plant. I will have two more orders of plants arriving this week. That will give me more flowers, bushes, and bulbs to plant. I still have to get my dill & parsley bed ready for butterfly offspring. |

Thanks Indy. I don't know if our small one does, but I guess I could order one delivered there.
Sounds like you're been busy. I love being outside this time of year though, and I know you love plants, planting, but I'm not sure about mowing for you. I'm supposed to be sleeping. __________________

Well, I can afford about $50, but the problem is, I don't have a way to get it here and in the house and set up.
I literally only know our neighbors, hm, though they do have kids a bit younger than me. Hm, I may be on to something. Cuddles that's nice to have at work, too, __________________
