Finished another concert last night.

This week I have two students in a talent show, and then our big finale concert
at school on May The Fourth. (Star Wars Day, so playing a lot of John Williams, naturally. )

Our Church Choir Director's daughter was in a production of "Sister Act" at her school, Friday night. (Most of us went to see her.)
She was excellent, the show was pretty good, and the script... ummm... was a bit rough. Her school is a high-class girls school, and they seem to have added a bunch of dance numbers and such for the girls to participate in. She's there on a dance scholarship. Marvelously talented, she is; she dances, sings, plays various musical instruments; endlessly energetic, and cute, personable and funny besides. (It's really quite annoying... )

Looking at the News from France... I'd love to hear from Our Favorite Frenchie her thoughts on the situation. On the one hand, you have a self-made businessman of no particular party who doesn't really get along with anyone. On the other hand, you have a morally dubious woman with far too many ties to foreign interests... particularly including Russia.

I mean, nothing like this has ever happened before, has it?

Hey guys I've been busy the last few days as Brigitte & Lisse are arriving on Friday for a visit. I'm giving Lisse a lift home to Oxford on Sunday as I have a concert there that night.

Indy...we want to stay in a central place in Manhatten so we're close to walk to lots of places. We're going to be staying in the Fairfield Inn & Suites in the Chelsea area. For 7 nights it's costing us $2500. When I checked today they price has gone up another $400. I'm glad I booked it when I did. It worked out cheaper for me to book it from here than for Faith to do it which was a big surprise. It came to the same price for her but I got it with free wifi, breakfast and cancellation.

The weather is just as mental as ever here
