No, remember? We were the "Spoiled Dreamers", aka, the Brats. We shipped Liz & Max, but we were "spoiled" because we were very interested in all the latest spoilers. As horribly plotted as Roswell was, it was our way of coping.
    Our trademark is the pool of denial, at the Roswell Cabana Club. Take a dip, but remember to take your socks off! You may also enjoy all manner of refreshments, provided by the various pool boys & pool girls; see first posts of any RCC thread for details & pictures. So pull up a lounge chair, have something cold, introduce yourself, and enjoy!  __________________

Dreamer because we liked Max & Liz. Spoiled because our thread was on the Spoiler board, where we had someone view the episodes before they hit the TV, so we knew what was coming!  |

I bought a little swimming pool 2 years ago, and have been waiting for some nice warm weather to use it. We are going to try it out this week, with my 2 little guests.

Aw the pool sounds so nice. it is so hot here in NY. I went out on a walk when twilight hit and it still had not cooled down. __________________

Speaking of summer If you were around in 2000 you might remember this show Young Americans.
The Young Americans Board is celebrating 20 years this year! It starred Ian Somerhadler, Katherine Moennig, Matt Czuchry, and Kate Bosworth. PLEASE show some love and post on a YA thread that has been around for 20 years. Lets get the posting up so they don't go into the archives. I never did watch Young Americans.
It's not a big surprise, but our fall marching competition season has been cancelled. That changes our entire fall school plan.  Still waiting to see if symphony schedule will resume.  |

Aw it's so heartbreaking all of the things that have been cancelled.
Speaking of things being cancelled or postponed My brothers wedding took place today in Maryland. It was just him and my now sister in law. They are having a vow renewal next year with a celebration with family and friends. With the COVID19 ciris they originally would of had a lot of family and friends traveling from all over for their wedding but they wanted everyone to be safe and told everyone they are still getting married but posponing the celebrating until next year. They still wanted to get married this year and start their life but said they will have huge vow renewal celebration next year when hopefully their is a treatment for COVID19 and things are back to normal. It was a bittersweet day but they made it fun for my family with photos and video chatting. They even got to talk to my 96 year old Grandma and that made their day that she was here to see them on facetime and in their outfits and wish them well. She loved it and was so happy for them. I even wore the dress I was going to wear to the wedding. Over all it was a perfect day! I am happy they are married. They both looked insane and the joy on their faces made me so happy! I can't wait to celebrate with them next year at their vow renewal! Hope all is well everyone stay safe and sound! __________________

You said your brother was planning a summer wedding. Glad they got to do it,
but too bad it wasn't the family affair they had in mind. Hopeful that you can have that celebration next year. We're having a Roswell "Heat Wave".....today heat index will be 105. Glad we cancelled band camp this week. |
