Happy 4th of July everyone! Clostest thing I could find for a firework.
 Hope everyone had a nice time celebrating and enjoyed the BBQ's and fireworks. We actually had fireworks in my town which was awesome. Stay safe everyone! __________________

I watched Washington & New York fireworks on TV, but that was all.
It's going to be up to 94 degrees this week. blech! |

The Fireworks in South Dakota on TV looked awesome. Might have to visit sometime.
I watched the D.C. and NYC show on TV as well. I went to Boston years ago to see the fireworks in person and it was amazing. NYC fireworks are not that great. I saw them once from a friends apartment. They are really hard to see and you can really only truely see them from the water or if you are on a boat. I would love to go to Roswell New Mexico one day for the UFO celebration and watch the fireworks there. My town had tons of fireworks in the subburbs it sounded like a war zone. We usually have them but this year was insane.  It's getting hot here in NY. Hope you all are staying safe and healthy! __________________

Yes they usually do it around the anniversary of the 1947 Roswell crash that happened on July 7, 1947. So I guess they have tied it to the 4th of July.

Hi Poolies
 I'm glad you're doing ok here. I've been busy lately still trying to empty my parent's house. I've now started in the garden. I've chopped down a lots of bushes, I'm not much for plants. I would rather have the space on the lawn for a table and chairs. It's the only way I've seen my family and friends in the last 14 weeks  They've been coming to the garden for a cuppa and a chat.Indy...I've chatted to Kimmie in messenger and commented on her fb posts. She said she was coming here but I haven't seen any posts from her Dawnie  __________________

At least you are seeing family. It has been so had not to see my brother and future sister in law I can't even go to their wedding. But I am excited and happy for them. They only have 10 more days to go. I sent them a care package with all wedding stuff to enjoy. We will facetime that day. Next year they are having a vow renewal so that will be fun.
I am with family but it is hard not to see friends and siblings. Stay safe everyone. __________________

It was originally The Roswell Critics Club, where episodes were discussed.
After the show ended, The Thread starter Calico Cat, changed the RCC Thread to Royal Cabana Club and had the cast be our pool waiters. It became a hang-out for the Spoiled Dreamers after our Spoiler Thread was removed. So, now it is more off-topic , as the SD's keep up with each other. A highlight is December, when our Christmas Twee brings us a chocolate calendar. |
