It's been so warm, I forget that your racing season is about end. Good luck with the championship.
It is going to be near 70 degrees Friday, but then this blizzard that's hitting the North West is bringing cold and wind, and maybe some snow flakes over the week-end.

Seems too early for snow, but at this point, with all the fires in the area & smoke, I'll take any kind of moisture we can get.

Ugh - sounds more like the flu, or even pneumonia. Blah.
Chicken soup helps, especially loaded up with garlic (which is a natural antibiotic as well as decongestant). It tastes better than most medicine, too!

Yes, it's nice down South, all the time; except Summer. Then it's Too Freaking Hot.
Often it gets well into your 30's - over 100 degrees for us.
Even at 85, it's a bit warm; especially if it's humid. Definitely time for the swimming pool! I don't think that's why she thought you were mental....
We've had some frosts here, so the bugs are all gone; and most of the leaves are down. It's to be warmer, through the end of the week; even into your low 20's (our 70's). Then it gets colder; snow flurries possible on Sunday and Monday.

Having been laid up with this evil cold for weeks I've spent time on the internet following your presidential debates and reading about Hillary Clinton. She's much more scary than I even thought was possible. I'm feeling very sorry for all my American friends at the moment with the choices you have. Or lack of choices actually Good luck to you all

Well, sort of. The little children in College were told that Mr. Trump was an ogre, only nasty ; and promised that Hillary would win. Now that she's lost, they're throwing a tantrum ; possibly with the aid of professional protesters.
They want, what they want; and they want it now!

This is what happens, when you believe your own propaganda: Mr. Trump helped open golf courses and resorts to minorities in Florida, by doing so himself at his properties. He is noted for having female corporate officers. Then he runs for election, and he's racist, sexist, etc. All nonsense, but promoted in the "news", so it Must Be True. Sad, really. But the price of gold is dropping, and the value of the dollar is rising, so it is better than it looks. Same as happened after your Brexit, in fact, but a bit faster. (I was watching on TV.) I'm not worried.

Indyfan / TYB: Fall decorations? maybe. But we're working out where we're having Thanksgiving, just a little over a week from now (11/24). And in Church Choir, we've been practicing Christmas music for months now. The first Sunday of Advent is actually the Sunday after Thanksgiving; it's "early" this year. I hope Twee is stocking up on her chocolate treats! And Cuddles is on those Christmas tunes!

Reggie, we had frost twice, but we still have bugs flying around, now that it is near 70 degrees again. This cold weather after the warmth is going to be hard to take!

Indy they're still about 30 minutes away, and getting contained, but we haven't had rain in so long. It just terrifies me-fire.

Yay! Sweaters are nice. I'm not wearing one: 72 degrees, and two weeks from December!!
Tomorrow will be the last warm day for awhile.

Bunnykins, rain should be coming when this front blows through early next week.

It got up to 71 here, but we're staying inside.

Had a lot of trouble sleeping/breathing with smoke seeping in the house.
