Awesome!

I am from New York. Long Island the Hamptons are about 2 hours away from me. I am about 30 minutes away from New York City. Closer to Brooklyn and Queens.

I have only been to the mountains in New York; close to Vermont.
I don't think I would like NYC; too much traffic & buildings.
(Although it might be nice and quiet now.)

It is a lovely spring day here. The birds are singing. It is sunny & warm.

Oh upstate NY is amazing. I used to go camping there when I was little.

I am in the subsubrs not in NYC. I hear from friends who live in NYC that it is so quite and the streets are empy. I work in NYC and I have not been back to my office since March. Working from home for now. No idea when I will be required to go back into the city.

Where I live we have parks and trees and we are close to the beach. I love it.

Got to enjoy some sunshine. It felt great to know that summer is almost here!

It feels like summer this week. In the the 80's, instead of 75 degrees.
I want to get into the school this week to do some work, but have to wait for approval.
In the meantime, there is lots to do at home.

Heh. I've probably been by there. I delivered truckloads of house-brand spaghetti sauce to Exit 56, the warehouse of The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company. (Made by DelGrosso Foods, who make the best spaghetti sauces.) It's flat out there, almost as flat as Indiana. Lots more houses and towns, though. And they have two rest stops on the Lon Guyland Expressway, featuring old Railway Post Offices. Neat!

Tonight I did a Zoom chat with some high school friends it was fun! Leave it to a pandemic to reunite.

I got to go to school this morning and work on putting music away.
First time there in weeks! I will go again in the morning, and finish as much as I can.

Awesome!

Had fun chatting with High School friends the other night. Some I had not seen since 2014. It was awesome. Some things never change and some things do. It was fun to reconnect.

I have a high school reunion this fall, but I usually have concerts and marching competitions every week-end, so don't have time to go.
I'm waiting to see how much I will want to go out this year.

I have a High School reunion in the fall as well. Not sure if it will happen. Maybe the class will Zoom instead.

I went to one a few years ago it was fun.

Any plans I had for 2020 are pretty much on hold for now.However zoom helps. I am with family but I miss physically being with friends and my brother.

There is a riding mower for the back field, but I prefer the exercise with a push mower for there and my own yard.
Today I will need to mow here, plant a bunch more flowers & weed.
Need to finish today, since it is going to get hot again Tuesday.

Shiri didn't do her virtual pilot read last night. They didn't feel the time was right.

These protests have gotten out of hand with the riots. I understand people are upset but lets not burn down the country and promote peace. We have enough with COVID19 to deal with.
