No fall like weather for us, either. Even warmer than most of summer was. However, we're dropping to about 70 on Saturday, and probably from then on. A downpour the other day, but no other rain.

Indy you're going to be on a roll with your concerts. Busy in a big way.

Well, it's 3 days later and I"m just finishing this post.

61 degrees, breezy, and gloomy here. That's what we get for complaining, a 30 temp change in a day.

Indy that would be awesome if you were picked to go. Have fun at the game tonight.

Cuddles all of HMS are doing a lot better, so I'm happy to see that.

Still, really not into racing any more, after missing so many races. Glad fall TV has started. Not too interested in any of that either, except the baking competitions.

Well, we had our first frost last night. Goodbye, Summer!

Indy: Do go for those overseas concerts. It may be a once-in-a-lifetime chance; if you don't go, you'll always regret it. GO!

TYB: I'm hanging in there, but I still need to get therapy working on my leg & standing exercises. They're still trying to figure out how to get me on the leg machine.
Am I the only patient here, in my condition? Has this problem never occurred before? Do you think I was born YESTERDAY?!? <long string of colorful obscenities omitted>

Frost!? We're not that far along into fall. Just got over the 93 degree days.
I suppose it will arrive quickly. Finally had 5 minutes of rain last night.
Do what exercises you can, or make some up. Gotta get you back on your feet.

Well, I do bed exercises, waving my legs around, but that doesn't strengthen the extensor muscles I need to straighten my legs, to stand up. However... I did make significant progress today.

First, I now have 'my' electric wheelchair. I can drive around! The joystick is kind of clunky, but I'm getting the hang of it.

Second, they've figured out how to get me on the Moveo leg machine. I got 60x reps on it, at an incline of 10°. It works like some rowing machines; my legs push me up an incline for resistance. We'll do more.

Third, they're having a chili cook-off tomorrow at 2PM in the Dining Room upstairs. I plan to attend. Yum!
