I've pretty much not thought about it one bit since Friday night. So, yep, in complete denial. I bawled about my cat, and knowing my brother would be dying (I didn't think any time soon though) for over an hour, a few weeks ago knowing I'd be alone in the world.

He was cremated. I wasn't included in the obituary. It said the basics, then "He passed with his mother at his bedside".

My cousin is coming, driving 10 hours both ways, to be with me. Luckily I have semi presentable clothes to wear.

I was watching the pilot episode of "Eight Is Enough" and didn't remember the oldest boy looking like that. Turns out Mark Hamil had the role, and then asked to get out of the contract so he could star in this new movie called "Star Wars."
Good move on his part.

Turns out the one in Trans. County had me listed, first. I don't know about why the other one was in the Asheville paper, but, either way I'm glad I'm in the local one.

I got through the memorial service, with my cousin. My mom started bawling as soon as she saw me, cause she knows I'm the only other one going through what we were. She had enlarged a picture of us, framed it, and gave it to me, and hugged me so long. She's lost about 25 pounds, and doesn't look good.

I'm glad I wasn't there to see the last few months. I wouldn't have made it through that. All of the hospice ladies were there. My cousin came from Va. and took me. It was great to see her.

Indy I got a card, yesterday, but it was addressed for here. I don't know if you sent a different one to the last place? It was beautiful, and the means a lot to me. It's the only one I got, aside from the one from my cousin. Thank you.

Indy I'm glad you got a day without rain. Have you gotten the rest of your planting done?

We've had lots of sunny days recently. One severe storm Saturday, and then a few yesterday.

I'm getting moved in soon with my closest friend. She is one of 3 other roommates. One is on hospice though, one is in the hospital, and I am replacing the 4th one.
