How are you doing?
Oh,doing ok. I've now got a wound vacuum attached to my 'wound'. It's called a 'PICO' unit, and it's battery powered (2xAA), about the size of a pack of cigarettes. I call it my "but sucker", because... well, it is.
I had my sister bring in some hardware for my computer, so now I can watch over-the-air TV on it. Now I have 3 more channels that...

...there's nothing good on.
Well, there's a new TV season coming. We'll see.

CB: "A Million Little Things"? What's that?

Our friends on the SE coast: Get out! The flooding may be like Texas was last year. If you are even suggested to get to higher ground, GO!

Kimmie be safe and keep me informed everyone in the path please be safe :hugs:

Reggie well hope you the Vacuum is helping.

A Million Little things A group of friends, who are intertwined in each other's lives, realize they need to start living more when one of them suddenly dies. The title is a play on the saying "Friendship isn't a big thing – it's a million little things." that is the synopsis

Reggie I'm glad you have access to a little more TV. It looks like a lot of good shows are coming out this season. Some starting in just a couple more weeks. Take care of yourself.

Cuddles I can't wait till it premieres. Well, Jimmie made it, even if barely.

I'll definitely keep you updated. If I can't get online, I won't be able to update.

Hi everyone quick fly by. Thanks for the birthday wishes. My birthday seems so long ago. So does my Vegas non wedding lol.

I had the best time visiting your country again. I’ve seen so much of it. Loved San Francisco except for how cold it was middle of Summer. Vegas changed a bit in the 15 years since I was last there. Hawaii is always beautiful.

I have tried to read all posts to see what everyone is up to.

You mentioned TV. I rarely get time to watch TV but like Indy will watch a few things on NETFLIX.

I’ll try and come back soon.

Hi, Kooba! You've seen places I've never visited!
Don't suppose I will ever go to Hawaii, Vegas, or New York City.

It rained 5 inches over the week-end. Did they ever have The Brickyard?
I'm behind on news.
Had another outside concert-inside Saturday. Not a good summer to plan outside events. If the hurricane season keeps up, so will the rain up here.

Thanks for the new thread, Mod Bunnykins.
I hope our Calico Cat is O.K.

I just checked the news. This storm is currently 400 miles wide, and 140 mph.
There is a possibility of closing the Charlotte airport.
Don't know how much rain and wind you will have, since you are west of there.
Hope everything will be O.K. with you.

Koob happy to see you! I'm glad you had such a good time here. You've been to a lot more places in the US that I've never been to, like Indy

Indy I was just coming to PM you. I was getting worried, and I'm so glad to see you, and you're okay. I hope the remnants of Florence don't come your way, the way Gordon did. They had the Brickyard on Monday afternoon.

How were the concerts, aside from having to be inside for one?

Yeah, we're supposed to get hit by lots of rain, and high winds. Our wires are all above ground, so if trees fall on them, we could be without power a while.

I am hoping it won't be too bad. Charlotte opened the track for camping, for people who are evacuating, but that may have been a bad place to go.

Thanks Cuddles.

Now, they're not sure if it will get better for us, or worse for us. So, I hate wishing bad weather on anyone else, but I hope it goes South.

We just have cloudy skies. That last storm dumped rain on us, but don't know if the next ones will head this way. We didn't have much wind.
Florence can't make up her mind. Now there's Helene, Isaac & Joyce right behind her.

If we get as much rain as local weather forecasters are saying, and any high winds, trees are going to be down all over the place, more mudslides, and lots of power outages. The ground is still soggy here.

At the coast they're predicting anywhere between 12-30 inches of rain. In some spots the 45 inches.

Watching Dirty Dancing for about the 12th time in the last few weeks, on the same channel. It airs 3 times the same night, on here.

Any new shows you're looking forward to this Fall, Indy?

Latest model shows western N.C. getting 2 inches of rain. That's a relief!
Maybe our Bunnykins won't lose power.

New shows? I really don't know about many. The one with the missing plane could be interesting.
I really just look forward to The Voice. I love the blind auditions.

We're supposed to get about 5 inches, as of right now. That's if, and that's a big if, she doesn't stay right over us for days, after she moves back North, after getting into the middle of SC. We're right in that track, and this storm is barely moving. So, unless it picks up speed, we could get much more.

Which one is that? With the missing plane? I don't see any previews for shows, cause I don't watch any of the main networks in summer. I remember reading about that being on, though. That sounds like one I'd like.

Glad you guys are looking so forward to The Voice.

I'm watching The Purge. It's on episode 2 of 10. Oddly, I really like it. Much better than the movie, which scared me.

ETA-now they've raised our rain to 5-8 inches. I guess we'll see when it gets here. So very happy I'm not near the coast.
