Oh our poor Twee is such a trooper. Bringing us all that chocolate while she 's so sick

All the snow has gone here but it's very cold. So cold that I've got my heating on I hate being hot so it has to be baltic here for me to turn my heating on

The new Star Wars film The Last Jedi was great. I'm trying to find time to go and see it again this week but I don't think I will. I will probably have to wait until after Christmas when all the madness has calmed down.

So is everyone here ready for Christmas?

Hello, Poolies - well, I survived the December snow of '17 Sounds like Kimmie had about double the snow that I had here at home.

Twee, just had a chocolate overload catching up on the advent

Cuddles, I had Winter Wonderland in my head for days when the snow was here, LOL

Dawnie, my boss loves all the Star Wars movies - I've only seen the original 3 back in the day.

I can't believe that Christmas Eve is just a week away. I haven't even started wrapping presents and am still waiting on several mail orders to arrive. Who mentioned they were still decorating? LOL, my Christmas tree has been up and fully decorated in the living room since Dec 2013! It turned out so pretty we didn't want to take it down, and we don't use the room regularly anyway.

I decided to give myself a break, I didn't go to work this morning, I've coughed myself hoarse all night and I'm having trouble breathing so I'm seeing the doctor this afternoon, hopefully I'll be fixed in no time --> X

I'm still mad at those Dr.s. And I'm confined to crutches and my desk chair for something that's all my imagination.
Saying that just because they can't figure out what's wrong me off.

I'm going to watch the one from last year, too. The Star Wars one that is, because the originals are in it.

Watching Frozen on TV again tonight. Yes, I have it recorded, but it seems easier to just watch it with commercials.

Indy must of seen my post on facebook last night. I had a pipe burst under the sink in the bathroom. Luckily I was in the bathroom when it happened as I was changing the litter in Sid's tray. It came gushing out so fast that by the time I ran downstairs and had to pull all the stuff out from under the kitchen sink to turn the water off the bathroom and landing was flooded. I emptied my dirty laundry basket on to the water and had to use a load of my clean towells to soak it up. I rang my brother and he was quite close delivering Christmas cards so he was able with the help of my uncle who only lives down the street to put some end thingy on the pipe so I could at least turn the water back on. I had to go to bed then with the heating on full blast to try and dry everything. I had all these water marks on the living room ceiling so I hardly slept last night worrying the ceiling would be down this morning. Luckily it seems to be drying out ok but will need painting.

I was supposed to be going on a Christmas shopping trip today with some friends but I had to stay home I was hoping to finish my shopping but will have to go out on Thursday now.

No water problems in Christmas time! Sorry about all of that Dawnie. Sorry you missed your shopping trip, too.

I may end up back in rehab.Seriously, that I have a pinched nerve. That does cause the pain and what I've been through,including the muscle weakness. Either way, I may get to stay home. Not sure yet. Don't worry-if I miss Christmas here, I'm okay with that.
