It's supposed to be mostly sunny & cool here (Pennsylvania) this week, with highs in the 70's. It's been a cool, wet summer, and I've been saying that that usually indicates an El Niño coming. Well, last week the National Weather Service announced that... <drum roll please>
There's an El Niño building in the South Pacific Ocean!

So, the onset of winter is likely to be delayed here, with a warm late fall.
Your weather may vary.

I'll take a warm winter. It keeps the heating bills down.

Bunnykins- Drivers are after Tony? Probably because he is in the lead, point wise?

No-after Jimmie IndyBabe. I should have been more clear. Jimmie's my number 1 driver, Tony is a very close second.

Reggie.

Didn't do too much today, some writing, and printing some pics to put up on my wall. Just got back from my walk, and my sugar only went down from 225 to 221. I have a feeling I'll be at the Dr's office this week getting my prescription upped. It's very confusing to me. Oh, 80-140 is normal for me.

Tony is my favorite man, and actually tied with Jimmie for my favorite driver. Don't know why I said all that, but it's been a boring day.

Hope everyone is having a good Monday. I went to Walmart and got a fan for my room, I have to have the air moving. And, a saucer chair-hot pink. It's really comfy. Way better than the chair I had. And, both were on sale.

Not much going on here.
I worked all day. Shopped for the new apartment.

Now I'm watching "Big Bang Theory."

We had a wonderfully cool night, in the 50's. I much prefer natural air conditioning.

Bunnykins, have you ever met any of your drivers? I know when they are at The Brickyard, they usually have a fan appreciation day.
Did you ever go to a racetrack in Virginina, or North Carolina?

Hello all!

Just a quick hi...

Unfortunately, my computer at home decided to die on me after a thunderstorm... so I can only try to sneak out to read and post while at work, so not so much, although technically I'm off now so it's okey, lol

I hope you are alright, bye bye...

IndyBabe-no, never been to a race or any fan events. I have Jimmie autographs I sent away for. Actually Charlotte is the home of the drivers and shops-so I really should go. There's a good chance of meeting the drivers at the shops.

Yeah-they're at the Brickyard next weekend. I'm only 2 hours from Charlotte, and one from Bristol, but just haven't been able to afford to go. Maybe next season.

It was in the 50's here last night-I'm with you, I much prefer the natural AC.

Zephy! Sorry about your computer. Wow, that's like 4 of us that have gotten our computers fried this year, right?

I just finished the second load to the new apartment. It's only an hour away, but those 2 hours seem soooooooo long in the evening traffic and road construction. I can see why she was anxious to move in. Now it's only 5 minutes to work.

Two hours is a long drive repeatedly. Glad she is happy where she is moving, and will be so close to work.

You must be exhausted.

Wow is the weather great right now. In the 50's at night and sunny and in the 70's during the day.

No race this weekend in Cup anyway.

Went downtown and walked around yesterday. Dawnie I went to the cafe! Yep, all by myself.

Today is my brother's birthday, so we'll be celebrating that whenever he gets up and wakes up. This afternoon probably.

Gonna lay out today and catch up on my sun I think. We're getting Subway for dinner for Kev's birthday.

I went to a family reunion yesterday. Great weather! It meant another 4 hours on the road.

Happy Birthday to your brother, Kimmie.

It is Brickyard week, so the blimps are starting to float by. They store some in Ohio, and we always see them when something is going on at the Indy track.

Oh I'm so jealous! I would love to see those blimps, and be close to there. The Brickyard is one of my favorite races.

Most of our family doesn't speak to each other so we don't have reunions any more. We used to have them all the time when I was a kid, here at my grandparents. I'd be a little tired of driving if I were you IndyBabe.

I'll be sure to tell Kevin. He's actually up now, and we're having present time in about 15 minutes.

Well, some year, you're going to have to get up here, and I'll take you to the Brickyard. They have events scheduled for Friday, Saturday & Sunday. It would probably be less crowded on Friday & Saturday, so we could watch the practices, and you wouldn't be bothered by the crowds.
The track and museum are open all year round, also.

We are still having fabulous weather for July. In the 50's at night and 70 during the day, instead of 90.
