My favorite one-liner of all time has got to be "what's so great about normal?"

Or when Liz blasts Tess in 4AAaB and yells "get up bitch!" Too funny!

I was watching Cold Case last night and the guy who played Maria's old boyfriend, Billy, was the bad guy! I had to think long and hard about where I'd seen him before, but it finally came to me and it made me so excited. Good to see people from the show are still in the bidness! LOL!

Hey SCOTTIE! I saw CC last night (well, a little at least, our station kept cutting out due to the snow storm ) , and noticed Clayne Crawford....weird how he always plays kind of shady characters, hey?

OMG...I just went over to The Crashdown website to look for quotes cos they used to have transcripts there....They've TOTALLY changed that site! It's SO sad!!! Ok, granted...I haven't been over there in ages, but still....I'm not liking it Guess I'll look elsewhere for transcripts & quotes.

Ok.....found a nice site for quotes....so here's the one I was trying to post before;

Maria : You are sooo bad girl. Oh, and Max Evans is staring at you again.
Liz : No way. Maria, that is so in your imagination. Max Evans? (points to her face) This? No, un uh..it's not...
Maria : And with those cheeks! Preciosita tan linda!
Liz : Maria! And, and even if it weren't I'm going out with Kyle. I mean, he's steady and loyal, and he appreciates me.
Maria : Sounds like you're describing a poodle.

If I think of what breed of dog I'd compare to Kyle, a poodle is definitely not it.

And at "Evilbay". The day I placed my bid for the gandarium crystal, my husband went on eBay at work (At work! He never does that at work!) to show a co-worker something he was selling.

CO-WORKER: Um....what's a "gandarium crystal"?

HUSBAND: No idea. Why?

CO-WORKER: You're bidding on one.

HUSBAND: Huh?

So he comes come that night saying, "Honey? I don't mean to pry, but......did you bid on something called a 'gandarium crystal'?"

Oh, and Crashdown (much changed, yes) does still have transcripts. Click on "Episodes", then "Seasons", then pick a season, then you get to the individual eps where you get a thumbnail, a synopsis, and links to transcripts/screenshots/music/quotes for each ep. It's nicely done.

Hey, Scottie! That's not a one-liner, that's an article of faith! If I had to use one line/quote to describe Roswell, that would be the one.

Cool! I saw Nasedo recently in an indie film, "Say Uncle". He was playing a real prig. Typecasting is real.

Let's see.....another one of my favorites:

MICHAEL: We all drank of the Snapple.

MARIA: Wait, "drank of" the Snapple? When did we get on biblical terrain here?

Wow! KenL, that's a very cool site! I've bookmarked it. Of course the first thing I looked at was the Cloralit gum commercial. Ahem...I'm so shallow! Apparently a ton of work went into that archive. So glad that lots of our stuff wasn't lost to cyberspace.

Kathy - that was the funniest story about your hubby and Evilbay! What did you tell him when you had to 'fess up about the bid on the gandarium crystal?

"We all drank of the Snapple" Love that one!

Tiger - I love that one-liner about the poodle! You've gotta love Maria, she had some of the best lines (besides Kyle).

Okay - how about from Leaving Normal:

Max: I'll just have an alien Blast.

Liz: (to herself) Me too.

Hey good morning POD's!

Kathy- Got your letter in the mail and sent you a PM. And thank you for the Crashdown tutorial...I found what you mentioned. I'm just not real good with change. Have I mentioned that?

Ken- WOW!! That site RULES! Thanks so much for sharing that...cos like Scottie said, it's nice to know that stuff didn't just disappear into the cyber netherworld.

Scottie- I have to laugh nowadays, cos I'm kinda obsessed with Twilight and that particular Roswell scene is eerily similar to a scene in Twilight (in as far as one girl telling another girl that a certain guy is staring at her )

Ok...more quotes hmmm? How about from Leaving Normal;

Michael (to Max): "Gandhi feeling frustrated?"

Or one of my favorites from that ep;
Liz : "The tough thing about following your heart is what people forget to mention. That sometimes your heart takes to places that you shouldn't be, places that are as scary as they are exciting and as dangerous as they are alluring. And sometimes your heart takes you to places that can never lead to a happy ending. And that's not even the difficult part. The difficult part is when you follow your heart, you leave normal, you go into the unknown... and once you do, you can never go back"

Tigereyes, you know I've seen a lot of us Roswellians falling for Twilight? There was even an article detailing how much Twilight is like Roswell, maybe that's why we're suck into the vampire abyss

This was today's Crashdown quote, Liz to Maria in Meet the Dupes:

Quote:
"Ok. This thing kind of happened with Kyle, but it didn’t really happen, and I can’t tell Max what I didn’t do. But I can’t tell you what I didn’t do either, so don’t ask me to explain it, ok? But… the point is, I just feel really stupid being here."

I love Roswell quotes That's why I like to play that game so much! My all time fav line is from Max to Liz in the Pilot: Liz please... Now my life is in your hands.

It's really shocking when you realize that he had her life in his hands when he saved her, and now his depends on what she'll do... There was a really cool shot in one of the Pilot trailers where Liz is shown saying "What am I doing?!" like she has no idea what she's getting herself into with the whole alien chaos. That seems so honest, especially at that moment.

Oh, and I was shocked too when I saw Crashdown had changed... I almost had a heart attack thinking it was gone at first impression! But no, everything is there, and I think it even has new stuff! The music part is certainly a bonus!

Morning PODmates

Misha! Nice to see you! And I read that article about the Roswell/Twilight comparison. The author thought Roswell was a much better story. Personally I love them both.

And I have to book, so I'll just leave my quote for the day, from Sexual Healing;

Michael: "Listen, Maxwell. You're a sensitive guy and you have available to you one of the top three seduction lines in history with 'It's going to help me find my home planet'. And you're refusing to use it. No guy is that sensitive. Use it."

I absolutely hate being so busy that I don't have time to visit! That was yesterday. Grrrr......

Hah! Man, was he ever confused, poor guy. It was a sheer fluke that he looked at eBay at work, and then he finds that. I told him it was a set piece, and they were really pretty all lit up (I knew that would tug because he does lighting), and I was sure I wouldn't get it anyway. And then I did. Since then we've bought Andromeda's Commonwealth Charter and a control panel from its bridge, so he's used to it.

KenL: So that's where that archive went! I have an old bookmark for that which doesn't work anymore. Thank you!

And not just his, but Michael's and Isabel's as well. Much as I'm glad he saved Liz, I can see why Michael and Isabel would be furious that he would take a risk like that with their lives too. And even though Liz proved trustworthy, his saving her did attract unwanted attention from Valenti, the FBI, and eventually MetaChem (or whatever it was called). It was like tipping over that first domino.

I do like the addition of music to Crashdown.

Tiger: I enjoyed Twilight's movie (when I wasn't expecting to), but I'm more of Moonlight girl. So naturally it got canceled.

Let's see.....another quote.....

ISABEL: Half of me is from there, half of me is from here. What makes one half more important than the other?

Kathy! I'm buying my plane tickets right now

Tiger, I still like Roswell the best above all else... I did fall hard for Superman Returns, to the point that I've written my share of one-shot fics for the fandom, but Twilight sneak on me like a sweet little guilty pleasure read... darn, those vampires! Now I've been reading vampire series after vampire series... I'm trying to get back to our beloved Roswell abyss though! Those fics are not going to write themselves!

Quote of the day for me:

Quote:
Max: No, that's wrong. It was more of a Navaho White, that's more Aecho.
Michael: And I'm the one who needs a hobby?

God, I love how Max says it! With such conviction! It reminds me so much to actual conversations I have had with other designers

Kathy - I'm a HUGE Moonlight fan as well (Alex O'Loughlin )...Still thinking Nina Tassler needs a brain transplant for cancelling that one. Of course if there's a vampire involved in/with something, I'm most likely to check it out

Misha- I'm still finding parallels to Roswell in stuff today. It's particularly bad when I'm listening to newer music thinking, oh man, that would have been great for Max&Liz or Michael&Maria etc. I have to admit that I hadn't been reading all that much fic recently. I had read some stuff related to what ever I was into at the time (such as Moonlight or Twilight), but lately, I've gone back to rereading my Rosfic.

Gotta go find a quote...BBL

Okay how 'bout these;

Michael (as Maria goes to kiss him) : Mud.
Maria: What?
Michael: Mud. I'm thinking about mud.
Maria: Why do I even try?

And

Michael: I've been thinking.
Maria: Oh, great. That usually involves me having to get my car towed

I just noticed I've gonna a little Candy overboard recently, so I'll try to get more Dreamer quotes next time

WhooHoo! Misha's coming! But wait....what if they cancel your training? Will that mess up your travel dates and your tickets? The dates don't matter to me, but I forget how airlines handle a change in dates.

Those designers are so nitpicky. (I can say that because I'm living with one. )

Tiger: But Candy quotes are great! Nobody beats M&M for snark. (Not on Roswell, anyway. Josef isn't far behind on Moonlight. )
