|  OTOs  It's disappointing to see how few people have been visiting here recently. This was still a pretty active thread not all that long ago. Many of the regulars we have known for years still post on another site. All OTOs are welcome to visit over there also. | Hi all, Not been around much at all real life is getting in the way. I did want to leave this for Jero and Belle though. When they were up to visit me a few years ago I introduced them to Blade a mustang and Jero couldn't get over the fact that she was petting a horse that a year earlier was running wild in Nevada. Here is a bit of Blade's latest adventure. He was starring as stunt horse with his owner stuntman and equine extremist Tommie Turvey on the set of the movie Jonah Hex. Karen, Tommie's sister just posted this on their blog. Tommie just finished up with "Jonah Hex" movie.. Got word today that Tommie is heading back home tomorrow with Blade. They did a really extreme shot of a tent being burned down on Friday night early Saturday. It was a 10pm to 6am call time. He said it was pretty intense. Blade is doing great. Tommie said it's quite an accomplishment for this mustang to be a "movie star", when 4 years ago he was running wild in Nevada. That's pretty cool. He said Blade hit his mark everytime and fit the role of an "old west wild horse" very well. (It wasn't too much of a stretch for him!) The movie will hit in 2010. Be on the lookout for it. | Hi all, Been absent for a couple of weeks. This weather is getting me down. When is summer getting here??? My youngest graduated from high school last Wed, but his Aunt was a B*tch and ruined it for me. I've been reading like a maniac. Haven't read in years and now can't get enough. I've read all the Sookie Stackhouse books (LOVE True Blood!), Twilight Saga, even one of the Vampire Diaries (new show this Fall on the CW). The Sookie books are great if anyone needs something good to read. I'm having a hard time too because it was a year ago that my Dad was sick and it bums me out. I have become a LATE Bloomer as far as Twilight. I love the books and can't wait for New Moon to come out. Though I am not looking forward to November at all! Anyone spot Rob in NY yet? He's there filming Remember Me with EdR. I don't think it actually starts filming until the 15th, so they are probably rehearsing now? Erin, they were great on the MTV Movie Awards....I love your icon of them doing that! I did wonder how Kristen hurt her foot though...  to Belle!!!! | Master Fan   | Aw Brendan looks amazing! I want Jacksons band 100 Monkeys to be on it as well! It was awesome meeting and chatting with 100 Monkeys on Sunday night at Hill Country in NYC! It was so amazing to finale see them live in concert! My very first 100 Monkeys concert was a blast! I had an awesome time monkeying around and rocking out with the guys! Seriously one of the best concert I have been to in a long time! It was so awesome they had a press interview at the end of the night but took time out at the end of the night to hang out and chat with us fans. It was very sweet of them and I had a great experience! They have to be coolest guys ever! I was amazed they have only been a band for 9 months!  SO TALENTED!I talked to Ben Graupner and asked him how he knew everyone he told me that him and Jered Anderson went to high school together and Jackson and Ben all were classmates and Jereds wife went to high school with them as well and through her friend she was classmates with Jackson and Ben Johnson and they is how they started the band. I also got to talk to Jered and Ben Johnson as well. They were really excited we all came out and I told them this was my first show. Took photos with them and asked them to sign my CD. This was the bands first time playing in NYC and they had a blast and hope to come to NYC again soon! There were about 30 people who stayed after the show. The band mostly hung out wiht everyone while they were packing up their stuff and then hung out by the bar and hand a few beers and chatted with eveyone before hitting the road. Jackson was busy taking photos and signing autographs so I talked to the other band members before I met Jackson. I told Jackson how this was my very first show. He was so happy we all came out. We took a photo and then he went back to the cowd signing stuff and taking photos. He was telling everyone how much they all love playing music and how they don't like big crowds but smaller venues being it is more intimate and they are just passionate about sharing their gift of music with a smaller group who love music and can have a great time. Later in the night I got to talk to Jackson more one on one being I forgot to ask him to sign my CD. He signed my CD and then went around looking for other band members to sign it for me. He saw Ben Graupner and was like Ben sign this and Ben was like I alread did. Then he was like "I'm sorry these are all the band members I see at the moment." It was so cute and sweet of him. It was so funny my friend Jackie told him how her friend Olive couldn't make it to the concert being she is from Irelend and she wanted Jackie to tell him thats she wanted to lick his face. Jackson gave Jackie the funniest look and she was like what can I say she is Irish it must be an Irish thing. Then I said well at least it was better then Bite Me. Jackson burst out laughing at that point. It was priceless. After I asked him what part of Texas he was from? He told me Midland and I told him how I have family in Texas near Dallas and he told me how his sister owns an art gallery in Dallas. He asked me if I had ever been to Texas. I said no but I really hope to get their someday and how my friends always go to Austin for South by South West Film Festival. He told me I should go it is a wonderful state. He was also told me how very excited that he and 100 Monkeys are playing in Dallas for the Twicon being Texas is his home town. "What can I say I'm a Southern boy" he said. It was so sweet. He totally has that southern charm and the southern twang is the sexiest thing ever! It was wonderful meeting him. They are such very talented group and I am so glad and thrilled that both their very first 2 shows in NYC were a huge success! They so rocked NYC! I hope they come to rock the Big Apple again very soon! If you ever get a chance you MUST see them in concert AMAZING!!!! We were very close to the front row. It was awesome even Kimbra Hickey the hand model for the Twilight book cover was there. I chatted with her for a bit as well and told her how I saw her at the Twilight DVD party. She told me how much of an exciting experience it was being it was her first Twilight event she was asked to attend and how touched amd moved she was by all the twilight fans and had tears in her eyes. She told me how she saw Jackson and 100 Monkeys play when she was at the Twilight San Francisco convention and how she loved them in concert and was so happy to see them come to her home town of NYC. | Just popping in to say "hi" to everyone. GH, I am still around, but seem to keep awfully busy. Had a mammogram today and they said everything looks good. Huge siiiiiiggggh! My friend Nancy is getting more and more confused. And her eyesight is worsening. Hard for her and for all of us. More gardening awaits. Next weekend I am going to a production of Show Boat. Really looking forward to that! Tomorrow, the new Rolling Stones magazine comes out with Adam Lambert on the cover. I will buy it. He says he is talking ideas for a record. Will look forward to its completion and release, also. OCF - I watched the video. Amazing. Most horses are panicked over fire. Roswell 10-2-00 - You continue to follow the celebs and enjoy it. Thanks for sharing the interesting stories. My next project is gathering most of my poems into a book form that I can print myself to leave to my next of kin. Maybe one or two descentdants will read them in the future. Maybe not. But at least I will leave a record. Then I have to check on those that are unpublished and study possible markets. Anyone hear how Diedre is doing? Haven't heard for ages. | |||

| OMG....that blonde (is that Patty Hearst's daughter?) looks awful. I know Hearst is in the movie because they had an interview with her on Access Hollywood I think and I saw the International Playboy sign behind her.
