The Twilight convention should be fun. Nashville is a very nice place to visit.

Did more gardening. One more day and I'll have the basic weeding done. Hard work.

Have several over ripe bananas so made banana bread. Should make another loaf tomorrow.

I checked on tickets to the American Idol tour show, but they start at $78.00 in our location and I don't know if I want to go that badly. Can't do everything, and I think I'd rather put that (and some more) toward a telescope.

Made a list of all the things I wanted to do today. Didn't make it through it all, but have checked off four items out of six. Not bad. One was calling someone and I can not get through though I have tried at least six times today. Frustrating.

Tomorrow I will get back to finishing the duck costume. Since I am working without a pattern or a model to try it on, it may be a bit of a challenge! Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Hubby due back tomorrow. I think we had nicer weather here, though he was in Arizona and Utah. Ran into some thunderstorms, but they move quickly through. We have had perfect weather here for the last five days. Spoiled!

Groundhog - thanks for correcting the info about Mars. I didn't think to double check--I assumed it was true when I got the email from a respected friend. Phooey. Maybe I won't buy a telescope, after all. I will have to rethink it now that you have provided me with the true story!

I'm on my lawn swing. Took a nap here today. How lucky we are to have such a seculuded backyard--and the weather to make it so enjoyable.

Hubby got home and he had a decent trip. The four corners are where Colorado, Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico border each other. The only place in the states that you can stand in one spot and be in four different states. Unique. He brought the grandgirls a bracelet that symbolizes that location.

Our choir director is also the director of the Seattle Mens Chorus, an outstanding and nationally acclaimed group. I mentioned to Dennis today at church that I was obsessed with Adam Lambert's talent, and he said "We would like to have him perform with us in our Christmas show, but we don't know if it is a possibllity yet." Am sure he will be extremely busy this year. Wouldn't I like that!!?! I read one article that said one mother was able to vote (for Kris) ten thousand times during the four hour voting session. I sure hope they can figure out some way to make the voting just. I think Kris is a fine singer and has a lot of appeal and I wish him well. I suspect he would have won anyway, because I believe Danny's votes probably transferred to Kris. But I do wish I felt that the voting was an accurate and just count.

Vin - you seem to be recovering. Go, girl!

Lori - I hope the firm bed will truly help you. Myself--the softer the better.

The minister showed the banner I have been working on to the entire congregation during the service today. So I guess he is pleased with it.

Boy1's roof is finished! The siding is done... Just a little bit of facia to go... The garage is painted too... Now all we have to do is finish the inside.

Nanaj: Glad to hear your hubby had a nice trip and made it home safely.

I don't have a lawn swing, but you've inspired me. I spent time on a lounge chair in the yard this weekend and last. On Sunday I ended up taking a long nap out there. We get both sun and shade, so I was warm but not frying in the sun.

Isn't it sad about that plane going down? The news said something like 63 countries were represented on the flight. Truly a world-wide tragedy.

LTL I talked to Belle yesterday... She'll be in Baltimore for a conference... I think she said this weekend... Damn memory!

Thanks for the congrats... It's quite a complicated roof... 2 ridges, 2 valleys, partial hip roof, part shed roof and the bay windows!...

You probably have no idea what those are... Anyway, Hubby and I weren't there and Boy1 capped half of the last ridge in the wrong direction.

They went with it and it should work, but it looks strange.

My friends and I got tickets to see Jackson Rathbone aka Jasper from Twilight and his band 100Monkeys play on Sunday June 7th at 8PM in NYC!

SO EXCITED!!!

I have been a fan of his since he was on the show Beautiful People and when he was on the OC plus his band 100 Monkeys band and I always wanted to catch a show.

So hope they play Ugly Girl one of my favorits song among others from them!

Since Innsbrook hasn't sold yet (It's listed for sale, but no one has even looked at it yet.) I'm going fishing next week!

Unfortunately, I have to take my a$$ of a husband with me.
