I'm deleting the photo now that you have seen it. I began to be concerned that it might not be something that should be reproduced.
Softie, I'd appreciate it if you took it off your post, too. Thanks.

I cropped the photo above to just the photo. But it didn't take. on the transfer. But you can still see it well enough to tell if it is the same photo as Softie's avatar. Quite a cooincidence! It may not be the same photo, but it looks to me like it is the same mountain and same time of year. A close "twin" in any case.

Jero - thanks for sharing your table of treasures! Interesting.

Girls have gone back home. I can relax.

Did I mention that several of my little children's songs are now available on iTunes? Evidently Lifeway, the Baptist press, is now putting their songs there. By the end of next year they should have a few more. You can't get them via my name, but via the titles of the magazines which support their Sunday School program. What l like about iTunes is that you can order single songs and not the whole album.

Well it certainly looks like it NANA,thanks. Shuksan sounds Native American,I wonder what it means? coincidence or grace?

Just found out..... Its Noosack indian word for steep and rugged, could describe the journey to truth....you must keep on and on....and slip and slide....then you restart the climb...at least thats my experience!

I found my Club Photo account still exists!
Just can't link to it.

I did set up a small gallery of vacation pics without watermarks.

Happy Birthday Lori!

I knew I was forgetting something earlier.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LORI!!!

Glad that you get some 'extra' days with your son.

Softie & Nana, I think it's the same mountain, but the views are slightly different.

Spam now I can see what it was that you were photographing on the ground. That lizzard sure blends in!

Later,

Hey, OTOs!

I've been away for a few days at a family reunion at my brother's place on the Chesapeake Bay. It was fun, but hot!

I've been catching up on email and threads, but I'm running out of energy to post.

Just wanted to wish Lori a And a because it may be a hard one, too.

SO's tomorrow, I promise!

LTL - look forward to your SO's. Glad for your visit with family.

Happy Birthday, Lori! If I knew my friend's secret, I would entrust it to you! Even as a fourth/fifth grader, she was attracting the handsomest guys in the class. I remember one guy in the fifth grade who was Hollywood gorgeous. His name was Loren Peace. What a great name, too. He wouldn't have had to change it! But he died young, as a result of an accident, I believe. She wrote several books. Her first was "I swam with piranhas and still have my toes." Her second was Fishing with Cinnamon Rolls (or something like that) about reeling in her second husband with her baking skills.

Way to go, Spam! Neat photos.

Jero, I think you are right about the photo.

Onward.

Spam - Enjoyed your wonderful desert photos. We have been to the Arches area.

Our heat is going down. No more 90s this week. That is incredibly hot for our part of the country. I know other areas are even hotter. They have my sympathy.

Am picking away at my gardening. If all goes well, I will have the Spring Cleanup done this week. (Yes, I know it is already Summer!).

I have never seen Charlie Wilson's War. Might have to rent the DVD.

I voted once today. Will try to make it again before I lay my head down on my pillow tonight.

Have a great day, everyone! (Lori - enjoy your son's visit. Does your dog get jealous?)
