Hey there!

Did you know…

More than 1 billion people speak Mandarin Chinese, making it the most widely spoken language in the world.

Thanks all... I'm not real good myself about shouts, but, on here hardly a post lands here without some sort of recogniton, either a reply, comment or just a Hi to the poster...I wasn't referring to you 'guys' in my previous post...sorry if it sounded that way.
On the contrary, I get more recognition here than I deserve...just that elsewhere I posted for example...a poem about Buffy on Sept 1 2003, got 50 views...not a single post...the title of the poem and the title of the thread...'Welcome to the Hellmouth'... just surprised how nobody ever responded...would have thought that someone would say something... like thanks for the welcome...good to be here...your poem sucks... nope, just a lot of apparently blank stares...

Great news about Colin's Film, Vicki...I was just thinking that we haven't heard anything from him lately.

and yes dear...it was Katie...

Anyone want to come to Vegas to see Colin's movie at the CineVegas Film Festival? The festival is at the Palms Hotel/Casino. That is the place where MTV filmed the Real World and Britney Spears was staying when she decided to get married for the heck of it!

BEHRFANNY!! You made it home! So good to hear from you.

WildB: I meant to tell you on the last page how much I enjoyed your pix.

Vicki: Wish I could come to LV now -- despite the Real World and Britney connections. Gee, if your pool were finished....

Lori: I voted for Katie, though I have to say Christine Oh runs a close second for me. She's hysterical.

Thanks for the link, JL4L!

#2 son and I were just watching the old Sidney Poitier film A Patch of Blue, which was made in the '60s. He was amazed to see that there were skateboards and grafitti back then.

nosee By and large, people suck at leaving feedback elsewhere. There are stellar exceptions of course ( LT! ) but with posting fanfic, I finally stopped even looking at the number of views compared to comments b/c it's just very frustrating. *shrug* What're you gonna do?

I know I haven't been around as much lately but I've just been busy with other stuff. Mainly my current musical obsessions and my LiveJournal, lol, plus admin-ing at LOD. They're all time-suckers! But good ones.

Oogy Lady alert!

Does anyone know the age difference between Michael Welch and Becky Wahlstrom (Luke and Grace on JoA)?

12 years!
He'll be 18 in July and she just turned 30.
Talk about an Oogy Lady's dream! Getting paid to be Oogy!

Later,

I wouldn't have guessed it either! Poor boy. (Luke and Grace).

Nosee - I'm glad you clarified that you didn't mean our lack of comments, because I often feel we must embarrass you because we enjoy your poems so much and say so. You always brighten our days.

Took the granddaughters swimming. I'll sleep tonight. Daughter just arrived. Bye for now.
