Did Baron and Toluca ever get picked up by Netflix? I'm guessing no because I haven't read anything on social media, but I was wondering if there was any news AT ALL about it?


If not, it's a shame. The trailer looked great, they still have the same intense chemistry, and Brendan and Majandra seem really committed and enthusiastic about it.


There is so much garbage on Netflix, why not make room for the stuff that people have BEGGED to see for over a year now?

Considering all the reboots lately (I mean, Roseanne AND Mad about you???), Roswell was bound to be rebooted. And as I said previously, B+T in this case is 50/50. Either the producers of the Roswell reboot will veto it any way they can, because the original cast in a parallel version of Roswell could take away some of their viewers, or the demand for Roswell will push a channel to produce their own version with the original cast, or some of them, with B+T.

Wait and see.

Oh, is that Roswell re-boot still going ahead, then?

Nothing against Roswell at all (of course ) but I don't want anyone screwing up B&T's chances of succeeding. Fans have waited SO long to see Brendan and Majandra play those characters in an alternate universe and they unveiled such a promising trailer - the idea of a separate reboot messing this up really makes me angry.

What could be more fun than seeing this former couple (both on and off screen) back with their passionate banter again? They're the primary reason I found Roswell so captivating. M&M felt like the most organic, raw, intense relationship.

Nothing would be more fun!!! I so hope it happens...I've done all the stuff...tea sending etc.... Shiri and Jason had amazing chemistry and so did Majandra and Brendan!! Magic!

They are trying to get B&T on scifi! I hope it gets picked up!

The Roswell reboot personally I hoep chrashes and burns. No word yet if it was picked up.

I want B&T more because it is a passion project for Majandra and you know she would try to have the Roswell cast guest star on it.

Exactly, and she and Brendan worked so hard in preparing the trailer for it (and all the promotion that went around, like when they were interviewed by Entertainment Weekly) and it all looked so promising... Then no word from Netflix


But that's great that another network is in the talks to pick it up


The trailer looked like a grown-up AU of Michael and Maria, which is exactly what I wanted

I want the B+T project because it's BF and MD and they are committed to it. The reboot is going to be the same kind of story, with a 2018 twist (oh boy, think Lost/Vampire diaries ) so I don't have much hope for that reboot.

Of course, I can be surprised but 2018 tv shows, romantic shows, are not the same as 1999 shows. Those days are gone for good, I'm afraid.


I know there aren't lots of news lately but I have discovered a brandnew fic so the authors deserve encouragement and reviews! It's called "The Long & Winding Road: Book 1 – Dry Lightening", by Kindredcandies. It's posted on Candyisdandy, and RoswellFanatics. The authors (yes, it's a duo), have already written stories together, all completed so as you can see, a very good sign. Good reading, then. Oh, by the way, it's a post-departure fic, taking place a few years after that episode and oh boy, the first part will make you... well, I'll let you discover it, but oh my god !!!

There is nothing I detest more than reboots. There has been an overkill of them lately, without any regard to whether it's necessary or not (usually it's not) and with a show like Roswell, how can they possibly expect to top - or even match - the original cast?


I've been excited for B+T since the trailer debuted, and have been very disappointed to see Netflix ignore all the hype for it because Brendan and Majandra are really invested in it.

A new B+T promo picture has been released yesterday on Twitter and Brendan shared it on Facebook, too. Wouldn't it be awesome to see them back on screen later this year?!
