It implies that Maria is involved with the enemy, but not really romantically (at least not on her side)... i don't know, but it will be a candy ending, so i don't think many people will mind... i don't know i'm just nervous.

Yeah, Amy was amazing, as a mother and as a woman. And she raised Maria well. Too bad we never learned about her background, I would have liked to know why she was a hippie, was she a hippie's daugher, too, or was she rebelling against her family by becoming a hippie ?

i thought it was almost over, but then i had a few other ideas... i know how i want it to end... i actually thought up the final scene first... but it may take a little longer than i thought for them to get there.

I always wished they had explained Maria and Amy's life a little more. I think there was so much potential there. I can see Amy being a very rebellious daughter. i doubt her parents were her biggest supporters. i don't know i just get the feeling that they didn't have much close family. I always found it odd that Sean stayed with them. he was a Deluca, which is only Amy's married name. So did Amy and maria stay close to the Deluca side of the family. And if they did then i guess her father really did leave everyone behind not just Maria and amy, but his entire family as well.

Yeah, we didn't really know a lot about Amy's life. If she was divorced, if Deluca is her maiden name or her ex-husband's name, about her family (apart from Sean). Maybe she was rebelling and that's why she had become a hippie.

Although, if I had to write a fic about Maria's family, I would write Amy having one sister living in Frisco, and being a hippie too. Living in the hippie/artist community and Maria going to live there while going to college. I will make it a comedy, like Dharma and Greg.

I always assumed deluca was her married name, but Michael does call her Ms. Deluca so maybe it's her maiden name. It must have been hard on Maria changing her last name and having to explain why to all her friends (she was seven when her dad left, so she would have already started school).

What a great idea for a fic. Do you write at all?

So47 was an amazing episode... very different from everything else they did... that's why So47 and I married an alien are two of my favorite roswell episodes. They were such fun episodes

Maybe an american can answer her, or an english, is it normal to call Ms someone who is divorced ? Here, a married woman or a divorced woman who keeps her husband's name gets to be called "Mrs", and a single woman, never married is called Ms, even if she has a child.

Well, she might prefer to be called Ms. instead of Mrs. if she didn't want to change her last name because of Maria. Maybe RhondaAnn will have some insight...

Edited to add: I was reading transcripts at the crashdown and in ItLitB Michael calls her Ms. but in DB he calls her Mrs.

You probably can find "A chained existence" at CID, in the author's archive under Crazygurlbb. Unless it's still on the WIP board. In this fic, Michael is raised with Laurie by Charles Dupree, who knew about his abduction, why he had been abducted, thanks to an alien he had become friends with, during his abduction.

Hey, if Michael wanted to travel through the states, on his bike, for his holidays, do you see Maria going with him or complaining that it's too uncomfortable ? In that last case, would Michael succeed in convincing her to go with him ?
