Don't hold me to this but from things I've read and picked up on although he's a detective, I think he might be a baddie! I'd love that as he's only played good guys since Revenge, I know he played a lot of baddies in his 10 year stint after Roswell but it's been awhile so it will be good to see that side of him again. If not, he could just be JLo's love interest so they can get him shirtless again!

He looks so hot from the clip in the trailer!

Unfortunately I've got the impression he's only going to be a guest role and not recurring which sucks as I was looking forward to him playing something other than a cop!
