| How did you get into Roswell? Why was it special to you and why after 10 years are you still in love with Roswell? Wow it seems that i am one of the youngest Roswell fans, i started watching Roswell when it aired and i was 10 years old! I rememer seeing the the promos on TV, hmm that looks cool and so i watched the pilot and i've been hooked ever sense. The Love story the suspensewith the sheriff and eventually the FBI, kept me tuning in mostly every week, but i did miss quite a few eppie's when they aired. I think it's special to me after 10 whole years because it really got me through some tough times in my life, I was was always moving around alot , was homeless for a little while, so i guess on a subconscious level i could relate to the characters trying to figure out where their home was because i didn't have one either. Well my story does have a happy ending and i can look back at that time a laugh about how me and my friend use to walk home from school singing the theme song and correcting each other when we would mess up a lyric, good times!  Sigh, and then there was Jason...Jason Nanthaniel Behr...well i know i probably said this before but i remember asking my mom how to pronounce his name (i was 10 at the time so i was struggling) surprisingly she got it right. After that i kept repeating his name over and over, i guess i liked the sound of it  but i mean he was just gorgeous and i had to know everything about him. to be honest i didn't think to muh about his acting ability until i got a bit older (with is to be expected) maybe high school and i finally saw and started buying the Roswell DVD's and finally saw Rites Of Passage. Jason was and still is my fav actor!Fanforum is another story entirely, technically i'm been on fanforum since 2004 but i had a different username (MM2k4), but then i forgot my password then it said something about not letting me sign in becuase of inactivity...so i lurcked for another 3 to 4 years, then in 2008 i broke my silence Happy 10 year Anniversary Roswell! oh and  to all my fellow Roswellians__________________ 10 years of Roswell But I fear, I have nothing to give,I have so much to lose, Here in this lonely placeTangled up in our embrace,There's nothing I'd like Better than to fall, But I fear I have nothing to give... | seems like yesterday when I saw the pilot... that day I got home from college and there was nothing to see on the tv... while flipping the channels I saw Liz getting shot and then Max healing her... the thing that got me hooked was the reversed connection... loved the music, everything... WB reran the pilot on the weekend so I started to tape the episodes (which I still have) I programed my VCR to tape each episode, I remember watching the episode every day until the next episode started searching pictures on the net, I even downloaded the roswell font, I discovered the crashdown website and then this forum, first I lurked then I started to post every now and then... My faves were Max and Liz, I even tried to had her same haircut  when roswell was cancelled from the wb and moved to upn, I didnt had that channel so I had to switch to another cable provider just to see my show, I still miss it.. I cant believe it has been 10 years and I still love Roswell, they should do a reunion episode! | How did you get into Roswell? Why was it special to you and why after 10 years are you still in love with Roswell? I was 12 or 13 when it first came on. I saw Brendan in some t.v movie. I think it was Perfect Little Angels. Saw that he was in a new show and watched it. Hadn't shipped any couples before. Fell for Max/Liz from the start. They were my first ship. They will always be a big deal to me. | I don't have the time I did before to really catch up, but I still love Roswell best of all even after all these years. Don't know if it was mentioned, but when Erin, Crystal, Nadine and I met with Jason recently at a party, I know we were all on Cloud 9 -- this after 10 years that he had first starred in Roswell. This group, this show -- and all of you that I've met and chatted with, have become like family -- sort of an extended family. Which would not have happened except for Roswell. I wanted to watch Roswell from day 1 (being a Sci Fi/Fantasy fan from way back when - Do you remember the movie "I married an Alien from outer space"?. She was a cute brunette and her hubby was the ever gorgeous Tom Tryon.) However, I had other commitments so I couldnt' watch it until the repeats over the summer after Season 1. Then I was hooked. Season 1 was such a perfect TV season that nothing else has really compared since then. Even "Twilight" -- nothing matches that feeling when I first heard "My name is Liz Parker and 5 days ago I died". IMO that just can't be beat. And of course we Roswellians are just the best. | Roswellian's I was busy with a 4 1/2 year old little girl and one on the way but nothing stopped me from talking about Roswell around the water cooler.  __________________ He was so warm.
