Yes Michael I think was scared more then possessive. He wanted Max and Isabel to be safe and was a true solider to the end!

I think that was definitely a part of it too. They were his one, true family and whom he felt was going to be there till the end, which is true.

Oh such a great scene. Go Isabel! I remember how she tried to hold back her emotions in season 1 but they always spilled out when it came to Michael. Either angry like in this scene or worried about losing him like in blind date and independence day or scared and in denial like four square. He always got her to feel and she always supported him. They just has so much potential if only they weren't scared of their feelings and what Max and every one would think.

I agree. Isabel was so genuine in how she felt when it came to him and wanting to be there for him. He was one of the only people she could be that way with, and she never held back. They were so scared of feelings that could be there, especially after Four Square, but it could have been amazing for both of them.

I wish it wasn't underrated. It was one of the most pivotal episodes for Michael and his life. It dealt with a lot of real issues.

I love that scene too! Isabel was so fierce, we had never seen her like that before & you could definitely believe that she would have killed Hank to protect Michael

Yes! The only other time she was so fierce that season was when he was sick and she took over taking care of him. Oh she was so sweet and caring and unwavering when it came to him. I really think if the whole Vilandra business hadn’t happened she may have admitted her feelings for Michael in season 2.
