& I just saw that before they realized it was Max & were going to walk away, she grabbed his arm in the same way then!

It's such a casual and subconscious thing they don't even realize it's happening.

And it must be normal for Max to see them be like that with each other!

The older ones could always come back around later. Endless amount of time to discuss them!

Isabel is such a light of a person, and he probably never liked to see her when she wasn't that way and making her laugh is all he could think to do.

True, & whenever we did get a scene where she was suffering, he was always the one right there. Like in The White Room when she was crying about Max

I felt so sad, but when he comforted her it was such an "aww" moment. They're always there to be there for one another.

He just wanted to be there for her and ugh. All the comforting nice touches.

I definitely think the way he looks at her is both a level of worry and trusting her judgment and letting her follow through with what she thinks is right. He has a very high level of respect for her.

Definitely, if it was Max wanting to go with Liz's idea, Michael never would have gone along with it!

I always felt with the back and forth of Michael and Max a lot of the time, Isabel was a calm, neutral ground, and he probably trusted her to be that way since they were little.

I think she struggled being caught in the middle sometimes, but she mostly kept the peace between the two of them & definitely made it easier for Michael to let go of his pride sometimes & go along with what they wanted to do

She definitely was stuck in the middle sometimes, but someone had to balance them out.

Michael always had kind of a pride issue, but he also had immense pride in her and who she was that I think made it a lot easier for him.
