The chemistry was pure bliss. We can quibble the extreme obstacles, but there was something one in a million with these two. They could make you overlook the obstacles, and just pray they would make it. And they did. And we got so lucky. Thank you Jason and Shiri for giving us a couple to rave, debate and love eighteen years later.

They were magic. They made it possible to root for Max and Liz during some of the obstacles, and to actually keep going with the show despite the storyline. I don't see how they could come up with two actors to give a portrayal so rich and complicated as Shiri and Jason gave.

I would have loved that the protagonist of this reboot had been max and liz's daughter + a cameo of shiri/jason.

To have the next generation, and maybe big or small cameo's from the originals would have been awesome. You could mine a lot out of the new generation, in this world and with the possibility of powers. And revisiting their parent's time. Because Max did open some hornet's nests with his healing power, and we really don't know what happened with all those he saved! But still, you could do so much...

Maybe a miracle will happen, but yeah, I guess it will live on in fanfiction. There is a reason the show is a cult classic. It's not the name Roswell. It's Shiri, Jason, Brendan, Majandra, Nick, William, Colin.
You're not going to get that with a new crew. Something will be lost! __________________
