I definitely loved Tale of Two Parties for that reason. And it did show how much Michael and Liz came to respect each other since the turbulent start in Season One. I loved how everyone was so sure Max was just being a chaperone, but Max really became interested in finding Enigma and how much he and Maria spent a enjoyable time. And yet there was no threat of any jealousy.

Although if Max or Maria ever found out Michael slept in Liz's bed, there might have been some tinge LOL. Liz was very secure in sending Max off with Maria...

So yeah I would love to have seen more of those friendships.

Kyle came a long way period. But one of the things I liked about the series, is we could have lost Kyle in Season One either vanishing or death and I wouldn't have mind. But he came in to his own as a character. It was sad it took Colin being so busy in Season Two and then leaving to accomplish it.

Although I did like the bonding between Alex and Kyle in the underground alien Crystal cave during the Hybrid Chronicals ie: the Laurie Depree Mystery. Since in Season One, Kyle was just there...

I also liked how there was no threat of jealousy after Season One with Liz and Kyle. They became fantastic friends. One of the scenes in "Changes" that I absolutely love is that Liz did go to Kyle for advice. Of course they have the "being saved by a alien" in common. But it showed they could talk. How Kyle was just as freaked out for his friend and ex as Max although Max was in a deeper devastation and completely became irrational out of fear and guilt because of the unknown. But Kyle could be a friend. Liz needed that...

And one of the reasons it was good Kyle went with the group. If not for the fact of the unknown powers if he was indeed gifted as well but also he was now one of them! And even if he and Isabel never got together. They were all a solid group! Powers or no powers...

I loved how they were a family in the end. I loved Kyle's transition throughout the show, as well and I love how he was still friends with Liz in the end.
