Coccy - that banner you made was gorgeous.
Max and Liz's daughter reminds me of little Liz, the one Max saw in the flashes,
with her little cupcake dress and her mother's lipstick.

So I'm in the process of collecting and gathering
all my favorite quotes from the series.
It'll take awhile since I love SO many.
But it'll be worth it in the end.

Also I was going to ask my fellow Dreamers something:
did Shiri & Jason ever date?
I know there were a lot of rumors swirling around that they did.
But I never knew the truth.
They're so amazing together onscreen,
I would have loved to see what they could have been like offscreen.

I know Jason dated Katherine Heigl for awhile.
Which after I found that out, I was a little weirded out.
Just because I get so involved with the characters
and they're siblings on the show after all.
But I got over it.

There were rumors that Jason and Shiri dated, but I don't know if they were true. I do agree that Jason and Shiri were amazing together on-screen.

i think that when two actors shared such a powerful chemistry it's natural that people wonder if they were together in real life too.
the truth is that we will never know
maybe they were just friends, maybe they dated at the beginning
for the rumors i remember that it was said that they dated at the beginning of the first season but it didn't work. IMO the truth is always in the middle
For example i think that actors just like normal people can simply *date* even if they aren't into a serious relationship. Especially if you consider that at the beginning when J&S were promoting the series they were always together

anyway no matter what happened or not happened between them. They were always great on screen. They didn't let their real life influence their characters, their chemistry never died. I'm grateful because it seems that they really loved their characters and their relationship. They really loved Max and Liz.
it should be granted but it isn't. not all the actors are like that.

just read some interviews by other actors especially the ones from new tv-shows. sometimes what they say is so stupid that it's funny. it really seems that some actors don't really understand who their characters are and their feelings. they don't even try.

yep, and some people think that they influenced Max and Isabel who looked incestuous

Honestly i never thought that Max and Isabel were incestuous. I think that people wanted to see way too much in the scenes and they were the ones who were influencing their way to perceive them. Not Jason and Katherine. I never thought that Jason and Katherine's relationship in the middle of season 2 and 3 influenced their characters. Maybe because Jason is very professional. He wasn't just playing Max, he became Max in those moments. and Max loved Liz and it was obvious by... everything. The way he looked at her even when they weren't a couple. the way he kissed her and touched her. Jason made it believable and real.

Yes, whether they dated or not, I think that their chemistry lasted from the beginning to the end. We certainly don't find chemistry like that on tv.

You hit the nail on the head. I know it happened in several shows that I've watched where the actors were dating behind the scenes and people thought it affected their onscreen portrayal of the characters. Meanwhile, since I never knew about the behind-the-scenes-dating, I never saw any "negative" change in the acting between the actors. So, in cases like those, I just assume its the viewers' perception because they knew the actors dated and it didn't work out.

Yes Jason and Katherine dated but they kept it really low key during season 2 and 3 ot Roswell.

I think the true test of an actor is to how real and believable they can make the characters and I think that both Jason and Katherine did an amazing job at keeping Max and Isabel siblings even though they were dating.

Sure there was a deep connection between the two but I feel this was because Max and Isabel where the only two of their kind besides Michael in the world and they had to depend on each other more because they knew the deep dark secret they kept and they were all they had in the world.

There was more chemestry with Jason and Shiri when they were Max and Liz it was electric and that is proof of great actors. Jason and Shiri were Max and Liz their love was real and they made you want to believe in the love between Max and Liz! they did their job as amazin actors and touched us with the love story of Max and Liz that we are still celebrating even to this day!

Personally I think there was an unspoken love between Shiri and Jason. They were in each other life for a reason and I know they still support one another to this day.

maybe because chemistry isn't related to real life and if people are together or not in real life too. Otherwise we couldn't have many of the relationships we watch on tv and in movies no?
It's surely cute when actors are together in real life too but it's more their business and it has nothing to do with the characters. the most important thing is that they have chemistry and they're believable on screen. then if they love each other in real life too.. good for them but it's kinda irrelevant for the fiction.

I always loved Max and Isabel and i loved Max, Isabel and Michael.
They're a family. it's just great that in the end they were still together, you know.

Max and Isabel were always affectionate toward each other, since the beginning.
Maybe people forgot that they were always together since they were kids. When they were "born" Isabel didn't want to leave the cave without him, Max took her hand he felt that she was home to him and they left together. Then the Evans found them.
they're brother and sister, they're family. If you think about their big secret and how lonely they felt it's good that they had each other all those years. It's also good that at one point Michael found them and they found Michael because they missed him too.
Some people just forgot how much they *needed* each other and how protective they were toward each other.
siblings love each other, it's just natural.
there was nothing incestuous in Max and Isabel scenes. I find them pretty normal just like Max and Michael.
again, it isn't hard to understand why the were so protective toward their brothers/sister.. because they had only each other for so long.

this is also something that differentiated Tess so much. She never was a part of that family since the very beginning when they left her there and forgot about her for 10 years. She never was connected to them in the way she was supposed to be connected, in the way Max, Michael and Isabel felt connected to each other since the beginning.
This was something that no one could have changed. Feelings can't be programmed and Max, Michael and Isabel's bond transcended the destiny book an every possible artificial programmed path. it was a natural spontaneous thing. no one told them to feel that way toward each other.
while Tess was forced on them and she never was a part of the group (and it wasn't their fault) and "the family" and i think that she knew it too and maybe this is what made her trust Nacedo more than them. He was her family not Max&Co.

it's also true that sometimes the actors can really influence their onscreen portrayal of the characters or the choices made by the writers.
if i'm not wrong it happened in OTH and gossip girl.
in that case it's the writers' fault. writers shouldn't let the actors influence their choices. it's their story and they should be free to write it like they want.

if we want to talk about rumors (not that i believe in them too much) i've heard that he was the one who left her and that's the reason of why she's still bitter when she talks about him in her interviews while he's always polite and he avoids the questions about her. so sad

speaking about their looks this scene is unforgettable

In that moment they knew that they could have died

when they look at each other across the room their look is so full of love and "no regrets" that it just breaks my heart. Especially when Max did stand up and he basically wanted to sacrifice himself in order to save her and the others.
i also love the contrast between that look and the previous one before they saw the guy. He looked at her with that big grin on his face and she smiled too but she also blushed embarrassed. that was so cute
