I also think that they're a good example of how being romantic doesn't mean that you have to buy expensive gifts. If you notice it they never gave to each other expensive gifts. Always very simple things, things that a realistic teenager can buy. Even the "proposal ring" wasn't a ring but a diamond made by him in the scene. I love it He gave her the most precious and pure diamond, the one that no girl will ever get. what makes the difference is *the way* you give your gift, even the simplest one, not what you're giving. He could give her a piece of paper and make it seems that it's something very precious I think that this is what Max was trying to tell Michael in the episode. #16 - 1 __________________ ___________________________ | |||

| Master Fan  | Vote for #10 Oh I agree they kept things simple like they didn't have to impress one another there was no pressure they accepted one another no matter what happen. They gave each other simple gifts like flowers, the pendent, bubble bath, the pocket knife, but they gave each other other gifts like dancing and laughing and Max making it snow and leaving her messages on the wall. It was simple yet beautiful like the silver hand print he left her. It was something so simple yet spoke volumes and was the most intimate gift he could have given her along with looking into each others souls. | I vote for #16. I just melt from all their adoring looks they give each other. It's as if the rest of the world has faded away and it's only them in their own dreamer world. It was never about luxury or expensive gifts for them, just being in each other's adoring arms was enough for them. And they gave each other the best gifts that can ever be given: their hearts and their lives. She saved him just as much as he saved her.
