and especially they don't have Jason and Shiri as the main characters since they both have to do with the show in some way.

I agree Shiri and Jason were Max and Liz.

It's kind of symbolic that the two of them are the only ones involved with the new show.

Unfortunately losing Alex allowed more for Kyle to do, and bringing him into the group post his own shooting helped. I was away for the last week. So I missed previous discussions. But I agree, we got lucky. They kept the two central couples, and didn't play with them when they could have done a BH 90210, and with Liz away after Destiny. Played with Max and Maria given it was clear they had become better friends during that summer. Michael was pushing her away. And Liz was pushing Max away. Or played with Liz going after the "bad boy" of the group, clashing with Maria... We got lucky. Tale of Two Parties was a fun look at the different dynamics, and they had fun confusing us originally before the truth came out. It allowed Michael and Liz to show how far they came. And Max and Maria to spend some time together, looking for that party. Roswell was special. It kept it's couples, and played angst roulette with them, but they didn't try to mix and match. Today, yeah, we wouldn't have gotten that lucky. __________________

Welcome back, Jasper
I agree, Kyle even left Roswell with them and the NY episode was great. __________________

hey @Jasper1975
Roswell had some of the best relationships/friendship.. Max and Liz to start with the bond of Liz/Maria or Max/Michael/Isabel & others that shouldn't have happened. __________________
