Given what Tess ultimately did. I wonder how Liz explained it. At least she was gone, and the baby was still there. But then almost everyone other than Max wanted to turn her over with Jesse abstaining. It forced Max into making some tough decisions about the baby.
They did bring back Tess and the baby and provided closure. Still thing it was out of nowhere that Max would consider adoption given his own issues with his heritage. Even if baby Zan was human, fully, still... But it was a easy out for the storyline to conclude so they could force the others to flee. But it kept the baby out there for him to come back into their lives later on, at some point. __________________

I wrote a fan fic once where Jennifer and Larry where the ones who adopted Zan. I liked the idea of everything coming full circle being they were their the day Liz got shot and Liz and the gang were there when Larry proposed to Jennifer at the Crashdown Cafe in The Convention.

At least with the show only lasting three seasons, one of the benefits is that you can imagine almost anything for them if you enjoy fanfiction.
I never read it, but there was a book or so that was based on the aftermath I think and they had children. __________________

Fan fic is where I am right now. Planning out my story as I read away at what others have written! (Jasper is next for me!!!) I love all the different possibilities! Katims and the actors really created some great characters!! Max and Liz’s chemistry was literally out of this world, but all the other characters were really awesome too.
I would love to see Max and Liz on screen again....twenty years later.....  |
