He was the producers original choice for role of Major John Sheppard in "Stargate: Atlantis" (2004), but was unable to take the role due to filming commitments to the Farscape: Peacekeeper Wars mini-series. He was later cast as Lt. Colonel Cameron Mitchell in "Stargate SG-1" (1997) as the shows new lead actor following the departure of Richard Dean Anderson. As much as I d The Peacekeeper Wars, I would have much rather seen him on Atlantis! Later, __________________

Don't you just love the titles of the Farscape episodes? We're So Screwed! That's so funny. Great sleuthing, Jero, that's very interesting SG trivia.

Scottie - We are going to St. Thomas and St. Maartin as well as Princess's private island out of Ft. Lauderdale. We are staying in a suite with a balcony versus the little porthole we had on Carnival. I'm hoping we like it better. I think we are going the day before and explore Ft. Lauderdale before the cruise.

RE: Episode names, LOL Scottie I was thinking the same thing when I was looking up episode transcripts! (Hey, I was bored!). Aww, he's married, too? Man, I finally get into the real world, and all the good ones are getting hitched. It's definitely time to move.
Oh yeah, I didn't tell you guys yet - umm, the time has come for me to put WDC behind me, I'm afraid. I got into a grad school program at Syracuse University in upstate NY, and then last Thursday they offered me a fellowship. I'm meant to start the first week of July. __________________

Morning, Caps!
Loved Heroes, but now the timeline has me totally confused, too, along with Hiro's buddy, whose name I'm too lazy to look up. Kendo? Loved the line about not posting spoilers. Yikes, Laira! I didn't realize you'd be leaving so soon. But congratulations again on your fellowship, especially to such a top journalism school -- that is fantastic! M&M: What a cruise you have lined up! That's something to look forward to. Good luck on the continuing job hunt -- what a drag! Scottie: I liked D's second book better than the first, and I'm enjoying this one even more. Nice you had that time with the kidlet this past weekend. #2 son will be returning from his latest "dig" in Illinois in mid-May. It will be so good to see him again. Very news about Jason's new movie -- I hope some more details come out soon. I could so see him in romantic comedies. jero: Thanks for doing that lookup on Francesca Buller's eps. She is so talented as a character actress, I didn't realize it was the same person until someone pointed it out to me. At the Farscape con I went to, there was a lot of joking around about whether Ben and Claudia felt inhibited in their scenes when FB was around. Then there was also discussion about whether Ben or Michael Shanks was the better kisser -- Claudia Black told BB he could pick up a few pointers. __________________

Really enjoyed Heroes last night... Wanna make comments, but don't want to spoil it for anyone. Is anyone else watching Drive? Later, __________________

Heroes was awesome last night! Is it cool to post about now? Has everyone seen it?
LB - oh, I'm so sorry you'll be leaving! You can still be a Cap though, we don't kick anyone out when they move away. That's great that you got a fellowship, I'm so proud of you. We'll have to have a get together before you leave the area. I too was sad when I found out BB was married, but he seems to be happy and that's really all that counts. If we can't have him, at least he married a good woman. Quote:

Jero - I haven't watched Drive yet, is it good? On my way into work today I noticed that a neighbor of mine planted a huge planter with orange and maroon pansies and put orange and maroon ribbons around the planter. What a nice tribute to VT. __________________

I can't wait to hear more on that one though. I would love to see him in something funny! Sampson is doing better. They ran some blood work and sent it to Cali to get checked for something cause they didn't see anything off in his X-rays. I think the results come back tomorrow. He's doing much better, though, and his appetite seems to be back, which is a HUGE relief. Hopefully it was just a fluke. I love Yankee candles! They have a new scent out for beach lovers out there. You have to check it out if you haven't yet! http://www.yankeecandle.com/yc/image.../L_1106733.jpg Ok, i'm off to eat some lunch. __________________

So I think I'm going back to my old job. I can't take the new one. Mr. M&M doesn't want me to leave yet but he also knows I'm miserable. So hopefully this is my last week.
Jero- I've been watching Drive but I'm not sure what I think of it yet. __________________

Yeah, Drive isn't anything spectacular, but I don't think it'll get cancelled. It's good to see Nathan Fillion back on TV. OK... Quiz time... Which one is Nathan? Who is the other guy? Later, __________________

jero: I already answered this quiz on another thread, so I'll let someone else play.
RosMouse: Glad to hear Sampson is on the mend. Good grief -- they have to send his tests to California? Anyone watch House last night? It was a good one. Scottie: The Windjammer cruise sounds very It should be a lot of fun to plan it. M&M: Sorry about the job sitch. What a pain! Laira! __________________

LTL - I watched House, it was good. House himself is hysterical. I love that he's all consumed with Wilson and Cuddy "dating." The patient's death was so sad though.
M&M - I'm sorry about the job sitch too. I know you had high hopes for it and I really hope you find success going back to the old job. How goes it there though, weren't they having financial troubles when you left? RM - glad Sampson's feeling better and I hope it was just a fluke too. I like Yankee candles too, but I can't go into their stores because the aroma is so strong. I do better when there's a smaller display of the candles like in a Hallmark store or something like that.l Jero - second guy is Nathan. No idea who first guy is though, they look a lot alike! Laira! (LTL and I are standing together waving at you!) __________________

Scottie: Yes, the House, Cuddy, Wilson thing is hysterical -- "No, I'm not going to ask her to the prom." I think she got him right on the nose -- he saw another kid in the sandbox playing with a toy he never wanted before, but now he has to have it.
On Heroes, I knew Peter couldn't die, but I was too dumb to figure out how they were going to save him. It was so sweet when he and Clare finally talked to each other again. I like that they can have this uncle-niece relationship where they can be close, but no funny business. __________________

Loved Future Hiro! Can't wait to see what he'll be able to tell present Hiro (if anything). Mama Petrelli sure is a cold person isn't she? And Parkman, Bennett and Tom (who looks like the Geico caveman!) working together will hopefully get some answers. What do you think the bad guy wants Micah for? (Can't remember bad guy's name right now.) __________________
