I agree They preach and preach about equality and giving people deserving chances, but the fans have been supporting this project for years now, hashtagging #NETFLIXforB+T etc and it still hasn't made a difference.


They're ignorant and have awful taste.

BF has already directed épisodes, I think and a mini-movie. MD has already orgnised her own concerts so they have various expériences.

And that mini-trailer was like a love letter to candies and to Michael and Maria in the show! Majandra's necklace which was the one that her character wore in the show, she was driving a Jetta, which was the car that Maria was driving too, the "abducting me"...

It was so fantastic and they showed that they knew their stuff about Roswell, even 20 years later. They haven't forgotten anything!

OMG teh trailer video brought back so many great memories I got chills watching it! You really can tell Brendan and Majandra were fans of Micheal and Maria and Roswell just as much as we all where!

I've said this before but I just love how fond they are of it now, looking back.

I said so just after season 3. They were fed up with it, the famous "Roswell fatigue" we all remember, not just for us but also the actors. BF didn't want to hear the word starting with the letter R. I said that in a few years, he would look back fondly on those years, kind of like we watched our college/high school years with nostalgia.

And I was right .

I think they approach Roswell the same way that many of us approach our teen memories There are moments you treasure and some that weren't quite so fun.


I always got the impression that a lot of the cast missed Colin and didn't enjoy the story shift away from the relationships to the alien exploration. Majandra and Shiri talked about it on the DVD. Also, Mo/Shiri both felt that the studio's interference in the characters' costumes and the CGI changes to make Roswell seem more like Buffy the Vampire Slayer was too drastic (giving it a "sexier", more alien focused edge and "losing" something in the process). -- Personally, I thought the exploration of their alien sides in S2 was necessary


Add that to Majandra and Brendan wanting to pursue their music/directing aspirations and it was a maturity issue. In retrospect, they seem to regret being so openly indifferent towards staying on the show post-S2.

Which is totally understandable, tbh. Especially at that age. I'm sure if they were on that show in say, their 30s (for whatever reason) then they may have felt differently at the time.
