I for some reason kind of associate this show with blues and greens, not sure why. Maybe something along those lines? I have to think about the banner! |
I think of brown/green for the desert area personally but i don't post here :lol:. If you take a look at the design seeds website linked in the OP you might find something you like :)
I imagine you would want all the same characters in the banner? It'd be hard to find reason to cut any. Unless you just wanted the aliens (3 or 4), Liz & Maria? But seems wrong & leaving off great characters to me |
Do you guys know anything about hte new show yet?
I mean is it possible there would be a new board or will it be discussed here? Would you like to include the new show in the banner also if the show would be discussed here and not on their own board? |
The new show isn't until midseason (so end of this year/start of next year) so there wouldn't be anything available to use for the new show. If you do want to be inclusive of the new show we can close this & come back at the start of next year. However, as far as I'm aware the new show will be being included in the midseason poll at the end of the year as an option for a new board. Personally I'm considering it as a separate show to this as its a whole new show (same as Charmed) so it doesn't come into consideration for me when it comes to this boards recustomisation right now. Another option is that we do this board now & then come back to it again sooner if you at a later date become the board for both shows & wish to be inclusive of that. All you'd have to do there is contact me & we'll take that request into consideration & see where we could fit it in :)

Nope, they're holding it off for midseason as far as I know. Then I don't think even the fall ones have pictures yet anyway?

I personally would assume there would be an entirely different board for the new show, and I'd prefer to keep any characters from that show off this banner :nod:

Thanks for confirming for the new show :flowers:. As far as I know the new one will at least be added in a poll to get a board :nod:. Don't know if the interest will be here for it to happen but that's a different story. If this board does end up as the place to discuss it & there's interest in adding the new characters in let us/me know & we can look at redoing the board again :). I imagine there's some dislike towards the remake here though so also completely understand not wanting them in the graphic or even discussing the show much here
I know SpoilerTV has pics but do you know any other good sites with promotional pictures from the show? Any picture or season preferences for them? Is this the colour scheme you like? That's pretty & would be easy on the eyes :sigh: |

The original board had a dark background and was kind of orangey/brown (I have a screencap if anyone cares).
I personally DESPISE orange, but if everyone else likes it that's ok with me! And yes Chelle that's the one I was looking at :nod: |
We no longer do darker boards so that aspect of the previous colour scheme won't be replicated. We also prefer to avoid red whenever possible and black is almost exclusively only used for the text in posts. We can however incorporate orange/burnt orange shades into the new colour scheme if that's what you would like :). We may even be able to make it work with the colour scheme Lisa suggested if others like that one?

Maybe a gold and silver color combo might be better if orange is a no go. :D

My only thing would that it would be close to what we have now... or at least the gold...
I am open to anything... But how about a nod to our show about aliens... A combo of light green (the energy our aliens exibited or their green DNA) and Silver, of course what were the shell of the aliens Michael saw in Summer of '47. Or what is common for aliens... away from their human personoa... The green doesn't have to be too dark. Lighter... It would be something different. If it's possible and looks okay with the silver... |
I would suggest looking through the design seeds website to see if there's anything there you like. Or seeing if you can make your own colour sceme to show the sort of colours you are thinking
Lisa had suggested this colour scheme which is more blue/grey & brown Doing a quick look I saw this one which is more green & grey but may not be the shades you were thinking Then this one feels a little like a mix of both Was there any picture preferences or are you happy for the team to use whichever work best? I know Isabel & Marie at least change hair styles during the season so not sure if things like that make you have a preference of promotional pictures from a certain season? |

I am pretty easy with color scemes as well. I love the Succulent Tones ones you picked I also like the still tones one as well.
As far as images of the cast go I do like the cast photo we have now. It includeds pretty much everyone in the cast and shippers are happy because everyone is pretty much represented. Any cast photos from season 1 and 2 I like as well. |

The picture will be different as we use individual pictures of the characters (as we did with your current one). I was simply asking if there was a preference for which season we get those pictures from not which characters you want ;) (I've seen the show so I know everyone who should be included is in there or at least everyone who was a main except for Jesse - would you want him included?)

Most of the characters live their best hair life in Season 2 IMO.

I don't mind Season 3 Max and Liz. Because that is the last look, we know them as of on the show (post the California episodes), when Max is has gotten his hair cut... He doesn't look the greatest with those orange streaks. Liz looked great all season long...
I don't like Michael's haircut in Season 1. Season 2 was okay. Season 3 was a little long, but got quite used to it. So Season 2 is probably better. Isabel is better as a blonde, so Season 3 is out... Maria... Season 2 is probably her best look. Although I did like Season 3 until she colors it in the second hair... I didn't like pixie or short look in Season 1. Kyle, Alex and Tess stayed the same genuinely all the seasons they were involved. So I guess generally Season 2. Except Max and Liz, Season 3 post California... But I will be fine with whatever is chosen. |
