On behalf on our amazing mods, Melissa, Yvonné and Johnnie and all the Black Stars at the Avril Lavigne board, I would like to thank all of the amazing posters who have made our second milestone possible. We've taken a long journey to get where we are today. We got Avril back on Fan Forum after her board was closed. After a long time of voting and campaigning, we got her board back. We proved to everyone that we are here to stay. Thank you all for helping us get to 25k and making this board such an amazing place to be!! A special thanks to Myra, Renata, Andréanne, and Arielle because besides the mods here, you girls are consistent posters throughout the board and have made this possible as well. Thanks to everyone else, who has taken the time to post here. We couldn't have done it without all of you.

Avril Lavigne. Avril Lavigne. Where do i even begin? I can't explain my amount of love for this girl. She's my girl crush and i'm not afraid to admit it. I've followed her from day one, back when she was 16, and i was just turning 9. Now i'm 15 and i still look up to her just as much as i did back then. I remember the first time i went to her concert. So small and tiny in such a big place, and then she sang and the room was quiet. It was beautiful. Her voice, her songs, her lyrics. Avril puts her whole life, soul, and passion into her music. Avril Lavigne is not just my favorite music artist, she is my inspiration music wise and my rolemodel. Avril has her own sense of style, taste and way of looking at things. Not only music-wise as well, clothing and in personal matters.

I feel attached to Avril for her emotional things. She helped me get through a rough time in my life with her music and made me focus on the important things.

Avril is a normal girl with a kick ass attitude and a rockin' and lovin' inside which makes her awesome in my opionin...

She is the best damn thing that your eyes have ever seen and for me she always will be.

Avril doesn't care what people think of her. She is who she is and doesn't make excuses for it. Her music and style is unique and you can't compare anyone to her. Avril is definitely a trendsetter. She doesn't follow the rules and still sets an example. That's why I love her. - Myra

There are so many reasons to love Avril Lavigne. She’s unique, fun, and of course talented. She has her own distinct style and personality, and she inspires people to be themselves. My favourite Avril quote is “If you’re different embrace it…It’s good to be your own self.” And of course her music, the main reason to love Avril. She can sing fast songs like Girlfriend and Sk8er Boi, or slow songs like Keep Holding On and sound amazing singing all of them. I have been listening to Avril’s music since I was 10 years old and even after many years I still love her music. I can listen to her songs over and over and not get tired of them. Avril Lavigne is the type of singer that can make songs stay in your head all day long because they’re all so catchy. - Arielle

The amazing thing about Avril is not only is her music totally kickass, but she follows the beat to her own drum instead of others, and this applies to her style and attitude as well. She sings about whatever she wants and not afraid to be outrageous and that's how she stands out from the others. Hey we can tell you it feels freakin’ amazing to have hit 25,000 posts in not even a year, with a board that once was closed. I know we had hard times, campaigning to get the board back… sometimes losing so very close… But we all thought: Keep holding on … 'Cause you know we'll make it through, we'll make it through
And we did it together! Thanks a lot for this
Maybe some might think: ”I can do better, I can do better” But we are all in for our small group of posters who are dedicated to Avril Lavigne and share the love with us. And we, your mods, adore each and every one of you for making this so easy for us.
