I loved that episode. Ares trying to throw Xena off. I just loved all the moments between Ares and Xena.

I finished season 6. The finale wasn't as sad as I remembered it being though.

Xena chose to stay dead to save the lives of others, so it was her final sacrifice in a way to her redemption of her past.

But she could still 'be with Gabrielle', just not in the physical form, so it wasn't as depressing as I remember it being, but then again, I was more depressed at the finale when it aired because it was the end of the show so.

There were some really weird episodes in season 6, like the one with Michael Hurst as the reporter.

It was funny, but weird!

I miss Xena, I wish they'd do a reunion TV show, like not an episode but a where are they now sort of deal and talks with the cast.

I found it funny how they tried to walk the line sometimes of "Is Ares her father or her potential lover?"

Of course, being both would actually be appropriate to Greek myth!

Back in 1996 I went to Greece, and it was during the time that both shows were actively airing new episodes. I remember thinking at the time that New Zealand (TV Greece) sure did look like real Greece. The vegitation and all that was lush and similar. I actually did get to NZ 10 years later, but I was on a layover in the airport and didn't get to go outside. Sadly.

That's good! I think I remember it being more sad at the time because it was the end of the show too you know.

I still think that could have been another way.
I don't like the idea of Xena being dead... at all.

i think traveling with a spirit Xena would be pretty cool. she'll have more abilities than she ever did when she was alive. therefore, if Gabrielle were ever in trouble Xena would still be able to protect her, but she would have a different set of skills, not counting the ones she had when she was mortal. remember Xena jumping into the air and becoming fire, then racing down a row of trees and setting them on fire?

Yes... I do. It's cool and helpful!
But... I'm so material. I wanted physical Xena alive!

I can't forget that Gabrielle line: "I don't care (about those souls)... you're all that matters to me!"
